I don't see it. I guess because I know first hand how much Oscar has helped East L.A. and how much he continues to help it. I know kids who were mentored by Oscar personally, and others who have been helped through the programs he has put in place.

 

well you obviously misinterpret the meaning of keeping it real. I meant keeping it real like in the sense that he still is involved with stuff to do with the community. Im not going to go into it because it would be straying into another topic but he does alot of good things that the media dont show you.

Floyd's style and attitude appeals more to hip hop based America while Mosley's attitude and style is more classy and appeals to people who like their fighters doing their talking in the ring instead of out of it.

 

I hate to break it to you. But everybody thinks a soft spoken person is lame. And the reason the hip hop culture or urban culture appeals to those outside of it its b/c it makes you feel lame. You talk about insecure, its about enjoying life and having fun and Floyd does that. Thats what people do now. They are not all analytic and lame like you.

Floyd has the swagger that appeals more to african american boxing fans. We like athletes thats are skilled, flashy, and talk trash but can back it up. Floyd is seen more in the black community. Shane is not and he went and married a Korean woman. There's nothing wrong with that cause at the end of the day love is love regardless of color but to some it makes them feel like he didn't think his own race was good enough.
