I have gotten so use to golden boy and top rank not working with each other that i have kinda just that is was always that way. How long have Top rank and Golden Boy not been working with each other and how has Shane Mosley been able to work with top rank for the Cotto and Margarito fights?

Arum hates DLH so they've never been on good terms. Mosley left Golden Boy to secure the Pac fight.

Mosley owes a debt of gratitude for Golden Boy b.c if they hadn't worked together, DLH would've surely petitioned to have Mosley's second win over DLH overturned b/c of the steroid revelations.

arum and delahoya seemed to be fine working together until floyd came back from retirement. i think floyd and arum is the more unworkable tandem.

promotors seem to hate boxers who leave them

look at frank fish eyes, he never has anything good to say about people who left him

i think the one two combo of mayweather and dlh is too much for arum to take

GBP is no problem-Floyd is the problem. Floyd needs to leave GBP to get the fight.

promoters like arum and delahoya would work fine as long as money can be made. look at those inter-promotional fights they've made like cotto-mosley, margo-mosley, pac-marquez, pac-barrrera, etc.

arum would have also no problem with floyd if he wants to do business with him. it seems that it is floyd who is taking it on the personal level with arum.

Then why did Arum refuse to make De La Hoya vs Mayweather, which lead to Floyd leaving Top Rank?

There have been three breaks in the 'cold war' between TR and GBP, and those fights just happened to come during two of them. And for the Pacquiao fight, Mosley left GBP.

Floyd-Hoya wasn't even on the table yet (at least not seriously) when Floyd left TR. Arum was playing hard to get like he always does, but the fight would have been made eventually. The biggest difference is that instead of it going Judah-Baldomir-Hoya, it would have probably gone Margarito-Cotto-Hoya.
