deads done well are safer than kettlebells. you dont need heavy weights to get the benefits. i`m 46 have an fusion on my back and am a personal trainer. i wouldnt touch a kettle bell, but can deadlift 200kg.
or the common sense logic of a former 135 pound champ fighting the former 168 pound champ Mundine was too big Shane was too small and way to old
I am fan of both training suggestions highlighted, but its not the tool that is important (bodyweight, dumbells, kettlebells, etc...) but rather using what ever is at your diposal. Who is to say that the lifting heavy weights all these years didn't kept Shane somewhat competitive into his 40's. Maybe he would have not lasted as long if he hadn't trained with weights.
2 of my top 10 fighters, but understand they rely on defnse and discpline to win fights. Shane always relied on his strength and exposiveness so this is not an accurate comparison. A better comparuison would be Pascal
Mosley is a guy competing at a high level up to age 42. And you question his methods? If anything you should realize he might be doing something right..like the weight lifting..
Well my buddy, he from Iran and not a terriorist:good, busted a blood vessel or something that made a loud POP while benching after I posted earlier. It was not his fault as I was girl watching and not spottingatsch Ooooops:smoke
