Next up Ricky Hatton. If Hatton thought the beat down he got from PBF was bad wait till he faces Pac-Man.

Pac may not even beat Hatton, better yet KO him.

Granted, the guy may have been overhyped by many of his fans. What boxer hasn't got deluded fans? Some of FMJ's fans reckon that he's the GOAT!!

The thing is, even after such a destructive defeat, he is far from being a bum as many on here say. He has beaten people such as Cotto, Clottey and Cintron. Bums cannot do this. I admit, you can only get so far on heart alone and Shane has proved this once and for all.

To say that Margo is a bum or has been exposed just takes something away from Shane.....and after a masterfuly executed gameplan and a fantastic performance he has just put on, it's just not right.

The only reason ppl will say AM is a bum is because they're tired of this guy getting so much praise.

Anyone who becomes world champion (in any sport) deserves praise.

Many boxers on here are overpraised or underpraised (is that a word?) but it rarely influences my opinion of them.

There's a difference between praising someone and overhyping them. Cotto, Pavlik, AM, David Haye, Amir Khan, ALL have been overhyped and exposed!

Personally, whatever a boxer's fans say about their man has little bearing on how I perceive them (the boxer).

Of all the fighters listed above, only Khan could be classed as being 'exposed'. Even this is debatable as anyone who knows anything about boxing knew his 'Prescott Day' was coming soon.

WRT the others. They are/were all world champions and some have been, rightly, rated as the best at their weight. To use this 'exposure' word on them is rather silly as it just undermines their victors. Hey, but that's just my opinion.:D

Calling them overhyped has nothing to do with what they do in the ring. Those guys get overhyped when they even get placed in fantasy match ups like

    Pav vs Prime RJJ
    Cotto vs Hearns
    Am vs Hagler
    Khan vs PBF

I mean, those guys haven't put in the work that the guys they're being compared to have. Another way of a guy getting overhyped is when Cotto beat Gomez, or Pavlik beat Pocket Lockett. WOOOOOOOOW. Like those were tough fights to begin with. Now why dont you see guys like Calderon & Clottey getting hyped? Those guys are also elite fighters and they're not getting any recognition.

Seven months? This **** has been going on for years. Every time Margarito scored a win, he was hailed as indestructable.

I mean, no lie, after he beat Golden Johnson in one round after losing to Paul Williams by clear unanimous decision, people were back calling Margarito indestructable, as if beating Golden Johnson in one round means Margarito had any sort of a shot to defeat Mayweather.
