Shane Mosley: "Based On Styles Margarito Is An Easier Fight Than Berto"

I will tell u why ...because shane is a fairly big ww and he is a better boxer than margo

 

I'm taking shane by UD, movement will be key. hit margo and circle him, feints and catching margo's shots will be impoortant as well. if mosley boxes margo easy UD

 

Shane better box smart. The more I think about it the better chance I give him. Margarito will put him through hell but it's nothing that Shane can't handle he just needs to stay sharp.

 

If only outboxing Margarito was as simple as a lot of people make it out to be.

 

I can see why Mosley would say that, Margarito's style isn't based on speed so much as Berto's.

 

Who do you pick?

 

Anybody else feel like this fight has gone severely underhyped and under the radar? You'd think a fight THIS big would have a lot of hype behind it but alas it's kind of gone by the wayside.

Styles wise Margarito IS an easier fight. You know what he's gonna do, you KNOW where he's gonna be and you KNOW he's not going to be difficult to hit. Styles wise it's a relatively easy fight.

It's actually..ya know..FIGHTING HIM that makes it difficult.

 

Based on styles, Margarito is going to viciously KO Sugar

 

Shane is crazy

 

SHane can't "outbox" Margarito. He is not this kind of fighter. He is a brawler, premium edition. But he is too ****ing old and never was a big puncher above 135. Margarito wil brake him down.

 

I hate to pick the winner in these kind of fights, because I always tend to choose wrong. By looking at statistics and their previous fights Margo should win by decision or even late stoppage, but theres always that heart factor witch I miscalculate, like for example I thought Cotto had enough heart/balls to survive 9-12 round Margo invasion but I was wrong, so I have a feeling I might be wrong in this one too, since Shane have nothing to lose.

I really hope your right, but one guy who's relentless and a non-stop puncher vs. an old vet who throws about a third of what the other guys does.... Remember Shane's output is a key factor here. Shane may have his spurts, but he's have WAY too many lulls I think.

 

If you are going to talk of Shane's style, throwing 30-40 punches a round IS his style. His pawing jab IS his style.
