And shane is declining in both area's. Obviously vs. Margarito I'm assuming his accuracy was good considering marg is a sitting duck

Physically he may not be prime but I don't think there is as much difference as people are making out, and honestly, I think people are exaggerating the boxing ability of the younger Shane Mosley. The DLH performance was very good but you could still see weaknesses in Mosleys game. The jab was poor and he looked very hittable. DLH I thought could've exposed this if he wasn't too cautious in that fight. DLH wasn't busy enough either, especially with the jab, which he then corrected in the second fight and you saw the difference this made.

As for the older Shane, People keep saying Margarito was there to be hit. True, but if you look beyond that you would see that in that fight, Shane Mosleys jab looked better than it has ever done, his combinations were still blisteringly quick while being much tighter, meaning he didn't leave himself as open as he used to, and he looked tighter when he threw the right hand too. He looked technically very good, but most importantly, he fought smart. I believe Nazim was a very significant factor. He got tagged in that fight but Shane has NEVER been that difficult to hit.

I'm not saying that this version of Mosley is better than the one that fought DLH but What I am saying is that I don't think the difference is as big as some of you are making out, and in some areas he even seems to have improved.

I respect what Mosley fans think. But to me, any version of Mosley can't beat the Floyd version that showed up in the Marquez or Hatton fight. It'll be pretty hard to convince me otherwise, but i will surely be rooting for Shane.

being technical doesn't always mean being good, look at pac or hamed try get them to box technically and they'd get their asses beat, mosley is great because of the way he fought, only a few elite fighters could expose his weaknesses.

The current version of Shane is easily the best we've seen sofar. I actually watched a few of his older fights as well as a few newer fights of Shane yesterday. His stamina actually appears better, his speed I feel is on par with any younger version. Most importantly is how much smarter and more technical he's become. Nowadays Shane doesnt waste nearly as much energy, and rarely ever wastes a punch.

    thats where i stopped reading

he is a smarter fighter now, he holds more often because he cant fight in the pace he used to, in his prime he used to throw combo after combo, now its in spurts, its the reason why he lost to cotto.

Anyone who has followed Shanes career knows that his prime ended in the first Forrest fight, after that he was never the same fighter, whoever says otherwise and thinks hes better now clearly doesnt have a clue of what they're talking about or has an agenda (fraud groupie most likelly).

Holding? What are u on about? Really? U also couldnt be more wrong about an older version being more accurate. Thats when I wrote u off. Now u want to site the Cotto fight as ur example? A fight that easily could've went his way...bull**** m8

Mosely has shortned up his left hook. One of the most devasting punches out there today.
Ring experience will make sure Shane does not let Floyd use his best weapon the jab to the body. He is every beatable and few have faced the level of Shane. Left hook will be the difference. Shane by late stoppage.
