Cotto. We seen Pac against that Cotto and that Mosley.

Cotto was clearly on better form in 2010 than Mosley. Mosley was clearly shot.

This is history, at the time it was debatable, before the fights. After the fights it isn't, we seen how Mosley performed, he was done.

I hope you're aware they landed the same amount of punches over the course of their fight. I don't live and die by Compubox, but it was obvious the fight was close. (I had it a draw - Cotto vs Mosley) It wasn't like Cotto dominated back in 2007, and Shane wasn't exactly prime then either and that was "prime Cotto." LOL

Mosley was in better form in 2010 than Cotto going into the Mayweather fight. Cotto had been knocked out by Pacquiao and was challenging the great Yuri Foreman at 154. Meanwhile, Mosley had knocked out the man that knocked out Cotto in his previous fight (yes, I know about the wraps), and was fighting the #1 P4P fighter in the world.

How was Cotto in better form in 2010 again? (Afonso Gomez (Could you see Mayweather fighting this guy in his prime?), Margarito (KO Loss), Jennings (Could you imagine Floyd fighting this guy in his 'prime'?), Clottey (SD), Pacquiao (KO Loss), scheduled for Yuri Foreman.

That's "PRIME COTTO" and his 2008 to 2010 run. The double standard around here is disgusting. Sorry. And people had the nerve to suggest Mayweather was ever ducking Cotto? Mosley? Please..... what a ****ing joke. And I like Cotto as a fighter, but people are ******ed.

Basically, I'm not arguing that a 37-38 year old Shane Mosley was in the prime of his life. But in better position than Cotto going into 2010? Abso-****ing-lutely. Cotto was busy getting knocked out and going life and death with Joshua "The Turtle" Clottey.

"This is history, and at the time, it was NOT debatable."

No, he chose to beat up a shot fighter. What has Pac got to do with Mosley being shot? That fight was bull****.

It was clear as day that Mosley was shot, he struggled to draw with Mora ffs.

    How am I saying that?

**** you *****s are stupid, Cotto was not in his prime in 2010, he was a damn lot closer to it than Mosley was though.

The pre layoff Mosleey wasn't shot anwyay, when did I say he was? He was shot after the layoff. The Mosley Floyd, Pac, Mora and Canelo fought was finished. He clearly gassed in the 3rd round ffs.

 Cotto getting beat down by Margarito and barely beating Clottey is better than knocking Mayorga out and then brutally destroying Margarito :nut :nut

That was in January 2009, 18 months previous to Mayweathers 2010 fights. When have I said that Mosley was shot?

The 2010 Cotto was on better form than the 2010 Mosley. We seen them fight the same competition. We seen how they performed. Its not speculation, it actually happened ffs.

Cotto coming off two bad beatings and a close win is better form than a guy coming off two big KO wins.
    Ok. bye troll :hi:

Read my above edit. And Cotto was 30 years old in 2010......... You and this ****ing "PRIME" nonsense. Look at my above edit and check "PRIME COTTO" and his run from age 27/28 to 30.

I'm saying you guys have been exaggerating Cotto and his status as a champion for years. And I like Miguel Cotto. You guys did the same thing with Margarito, Pacquiao, and pretty much anybody else you idiots "perceive" as some monster in the ring that will destroy Mayweather. LOL

The hate blinds you guys so much it is sickening. Cotto's so-called "prime" is an absolute joke compared to Mayweather. If Mayweather pulled that ****, you guys would be up in arms.

So did Cotto magically become great again in 2012 when Mayweather fought him?

That Cotto was alot better than the bloated one Mayweather beat last year.

Shane was on the better run yes, but that was over a year beforehand. He didn't age overnight here. That Cotto beats that Mosley much easier than he beat the younger fresher Mosley. That Mosley never looked good again.

I don't think Cotto is that great either, but I do think he iss better than that Mosley. A prime Mosley beats up that Cotto though.
