Mosley looked horrible, gassed out midway through and was on his way to just barely eking out a decision by a single point (having swept the first half but getting swept from the 6th until the 9th as Lopez came on and started to beat him up) due to an early knockdown. It took him going berserk in the final round with a wild barrage of hooks to get the KO.

Oh, so Mosley getting CREAMED by left hands from the 6th (arguably midway into the 5th) until the 9th and missing everything he threw with mustard, feathery "not to land" stuff notwithstanding, as part of a calculated strategy awaiting the path for the left hook to magically open up in the last round, which he knew was going to happen? :rofl

When he was gassed the fuck out, huffing & puffing & grimacing and looking as though he wanted to cry and then lie down for a nap for three or four rounds straight - he really had Lopez right where he wanted him, eh?

I had Mosley sweeping the first half but the 5th was extremely close. You could argue Lopez began his takeover in that frame - which means entering the last round he still could've earned a 94-94 draw in spite of the knockdown (with a 6-4 edge in rounds) if he just avoided Mosley's wild spray of sloppy hooks and coasted with pot shot right jabs while steering clear of the old man with his younger and fresher legs.

Dumb stuff in the end from Lopez, blew a chance to maybe put a nice upset on his record (even if just in the form of a draw with a faded Hall of Fame shoe-in, and even that assumes fair judging)

That was literally the worst Mosley has ever boxed. You really are dumb enough to believe otherwise just because he jabbed a lot more than he is known for doing, aren't you? That was a lousy jab, the apotheosis of 'technically bad', and after the first few rounds served no effect. None. Zilch.
