Since we all whooping and jerking off to this win now...alot of cats out there believe Shane never earned the moniker "Sugar" like the the other more famous bearers of that nickname..Ray leonard and Ray Robinson(did'nt Shane fight a lot like him at times last nite??) While he was an underdog coming into this one...the outcome is not quite Tyson-Douglas-esque type upset...The execution however, was sublime at times...it brought back the old Shane for all those young guns out there who never saw him in his prime...at 37yrs old... Has he earned it?
He earned it beating DLH back in 2000. Tonight leaves no doubt about it moving back down and knocking Margarito off the WW mountain.
Did'nt he pass the polygraph? There is no proof he took that stuff knowingly...or otherwise for that matter. But I agree,he's earned it.His balls and heart alone earns him that. The fact that he's one of the classiest acts in boxing is bonus.
Considering what Shane has done in this late of his career, he definitely live up to the Sugar name. IF this was prime shane, he would have knock out plenty of the p4pners currently on the list.
That's what I figured too bro.The man has been to hell and back and he still put up one for the ages last nite.:good
Transcripts for the court case. He knew he was taking EPO. Even admitted the "E" on his calendar was the for the EPO injections.
I dont remember exactly. I just know he admitted to knowingly taking EPO. ask me tommorrow when Im not buzzed. :good
He's taking some dude to court because he had no clue what he was taking. They should put an asterick next to that win. The judges are to blame for that outcome, not EPO or Balco.
