after a clear but close and hard-fought win over a decent but limited LW in Cano. Thinks he proved he's still among the very best and is ready for anybody at 147, and he "sees signs of the old Shane being back".
Presumably, he also wants everybody to ignore that "the old Shane" would've annihilated this kid in 5 rounds.

Shane, congratulations on a nice win for a 41-year old fighter. But fukkin get real.

i was kinda hoping he'd lose against Cano, so he would retire.

I am not sure Cano is the opponent which makes critics apologize. If he beats Broner they will.

No, Morales beas Cano easier, and he was a complete shell.

Saying that, if we never knew who mosley was, and had only seen him for the 1st time this weekend. We' have thought he was a decent fighter.

IMO mosley still has enough to win a belt and beat people with the right style for him.

I'd favour mosley over Malignaggi and Maidana right now, jsut not anyone elite, so if he's happy at that level then why not.

But that's the problem: he won't be happy at that level for long. He'll always want to fight the best, that's just who he is. And as long as he can still win lil' fights like this, his promoter and the ppl around him will keep enabling him.

is it me or did Shane look better with his Jack in his Corner? I know Cano isnt in the same class as Canelo, Pac or Mayweather but atleast Shane was able to pull the trigger this time.

He was able to pull the trigger against Floyd and Pacquiao too but something changed before the Canelo fight.

Morales was not a complete shell. He had just come off a good performance against Maidana.

And Cano was a last minute replacement for Matthyse so he only had 8 days to prep.

Mosley is still a B+ fighter, he'd give most 140-147 lb fighters a hard tough fight.

    Yes, that's exactly the problem.

Wake me up when the young 135-era Shane is back. :deal

As expected and previously stated, it would be the worst thing for him if he wins this fight because he's going to continue till some novice knocks him out.
