Shane Mosley is gonna DESTROY Saul Alvarez

Here is my reasoning.

Watch Alvarez vs Gomez. Alfonso frequently stepped to the side which Alvarez had little answer too, little Alfonso landed right hands, but due to have Paulie-esque punching power couldn't do much damage.

Watch Mosley vs Pacquaio. Mosley steps to the side, but doesn't pull the trigger. Shane won't be nearly as intimidated by Alvarez as he was Pacquaio, unless Canelo knocks him down early.

I expect Shane to turn Alvarez and crack him with a hard right hand, over and over and there is still some power there, I'm certain. There's also rumours of Shane having had damage to the ligiments in his heel/ankle/foot for the Pacquaio fight, which may or may not be true.

Kermit Cintron was gun shy and he stunned Alvarez with a right hand, if Shane turns up with a killer instinct, he'll end the Alvarez hype train.

I think Mosley's problem is he gives in too easily. I know he definitely wanted to call it quits in the Pacquiao fight but he apparently wanted to do the same in the Mayweather fight. I swear I heard him say it at the end of the 5th.

I just don't think he likes being bullied around.

 

A few years ago I remember watching canelo fight shane's brother or cousin something like that and canelo got shook up badly, gbp made sure the vid is hidden probably but that did happen.
Mosley in his prime would murder canelo, he is now considered shot but I do believe there will be value in the odds, canelo doesnt have the skills to dominate like floyd, spoil like mora or scare him like pac did.
His hope mosley is that far gone that he can take him, which is certainly possible but im not counting shane out as well, he might shook the world again.

 

Mosley will not walk Canelo down like he did Margarito because Mosley didn't walk Margarito down.

mosley will be the same as his last 3 three fights ,, just in there for a paycheck , he just aint got the fight in him anymore ,, imo

 

I actually think there are questions on Alvarez chin and almost certainly his defence. Shane does still have the power to stop him, the problem is he just doesn't throw enough these days. I see Mosley jittering about eating shots and not being able to pull the trigger

I just dont think Shane has it in him to beat Canelo and I will venture to say that a knockout of Shane by Canelo is very likely. I dont think Shane can press the issue like he needs to and Canelo's speed and power will rule the day.

On a serious note, as much of a shot fighter as Shane is, it's always been in his nature to completely destroy Mexican fighters who come forward. Thing is, Saul Alvarez can do a few things going backwards, which will end up giving him the fight. If he tries to bully Mosley he could get ****ed up.

 

I wouldn't really call that walking him down, he was going all out to finish a damaged/hurt fighter. He was going in for the kill.

He let Margarito walk on to big shots then tied him up. He's too twitchy to do that to Canelo, now.

 

Mosley at 15/1 would work out very nicely for me

 

The guy fought liked a ***** against the midget... what makes you think he would destroy a strong 154pounder fighter. LOL

 

Because he had an alleged injury in that fight, barley threw a punch and still managed to befuddle "the midget". Let Shane get on "that ****" again, you'll see. :rasta
