I would like to see Shane shock the world. But, I have to pick Alvarez in this one. Shane has fallen off, as far as I can tell. That Margarito fight seems like it was AGES ago.

Mosley still has enough to school this kid. Canelo is good but not special yet and takes a special fighter to beat an even old Mosley.

I don't think he'll "destroy" canelo...Canelo probably wins the fight-

Mosley is a much more COMPETTIVE fight than El Perro or Glass Jaw limited Skills Kirkland.

Posters reference how horrible Shane has looked in his last 3 fights...look who he was fighting...2 of the best in the world, and a guy who 0 fighters look good agains (other than Forrest and he got beat)...

Kirkland, in his last 3 fights GOT KNOCKED THE FUK OUT BY A JOURNEYMEN, AND THEN THAT GLASS JAW GOT EXPOSED BY EL PERRO AS WELL.

Shane Mosley is the most COMPETITIVE fight out for Saul Alvarez..He will take him into deeper waters than either Kirkland or El Perro.

We're talking about a legend who's been in there with:

    De la Hoya x 2
    Margarito
    Pacquiao
    Mayweather
    Winky Wright
    Viper
    Vargas
    Mayorga

    Canelo has been in with.....

Mosley has to be right shot if he loses this one.

People were saying the same thing after Winky:huh...I think the same thing before fighting Margarito to..Shane was a 3-1 underdog in that fight too...

Kirkland or El Perro wouldnt even be competitive as Shane...Lara and Dzinziruk don't have the name and I doubt Dibella wants Paul Williams anywhere near Canelo right now.

Given the circumstances right now, Shane is the best fight out there for Alvarez for a co-main event-

Shane is the 4-5 biggest draw in the sport still....he can do good on an undercard and bring a lot more exposure towards Alvarez over anyone in the division is a bonus over the other fighters fighting too...Plus they'll get their chances after-Alvarez got some recognition business to handle in the United States right now and Shane is a perfect first step.

Are all you guys picking Mosley to cause an upset forgetting his track record at 154lbs? He's never been great there, and he's only gotten older. It'd be nice to think he hasn't been relegated to a gatekeeper/big name on your CV type guy, but I think that's all there is for him if he chooses not to retire.

thus the fight will be competitive-

Saul will get a bigger challenge from Mosley than Hatton or Cintron gave em.bigger challenge then either Kirkland or El Perro could give em too.

Lets get this straight .... An almost certainly juiced up Mosely beat a weight weakened and sick Tony Margarito. This is born out when you compare Mosely's third round gassing & pathetic performance against Mayweather . Not so full of energy then huh?
How Mosely still has a licence to box beats me, let alone keep having big $$$$$$$$ fights. After all Mosely was PROVEN to have fought & defeated DelaHoya while juiced. In any other sport he'd be banned for life.
Tony Margarito was banned for months by the CSAC on mere SUSPICION of having illegal wraps. When the CSAC were asked to produce the "bad " wraps at Margarito hearing, for getting his licence back, the reply was an embarassed " Errr the wraps have been mislaid we dont know where they are" C'mon do the crooks think folk are that naive to believe the CSAC mislaid the only evidence they claimed to have for depriving a man of earning a living??? If those wraps had really been loaded believe me Margarito would have been in jail and rightly so. As it is Margarito was railroaded:fire:fire:fire:fire

are you all employees of gbp or something? shane hasnt looked good for 3 years now. he cant pull the trigger, he's never been as good at 154 and now his stamina is gone and he's showing signs of brain damage. if may or pac had shown some killer instinct in their fights they would have stopped him. alvarez will only lose if he fights like a complete ******. even against cintron he was cautious early on, so i dont see it happening. shane just hasnt got the reflexes to catch him anymore, this is just a bad, cynical fight. though not as bad as quillin v winky, jesus christ...
