I kinda get the point that Shane was trying to make. Canelo in his fights hasnt adjusted when faced with something that is scoring on him. He just continues to fight the same way. Case in point the Mayweather fight. Cotto has show at times different dimensions (Margarito rematch) but yes yes I know its inconsistent (Trout, Mayweather). I still give the edge to the younger guy. Cotto hasnt a chance of turning old two saturdays from now.

I'd take anything Mosley says with a grain of salt. He still has beef with Golden Boy, and Canelo is their star. If he were still a partner with them he would be pushing the company line and saying Canelo was the future.

I couldn't agree more he has an axe to grind and has no credibility when discussing this fight.

I think he left GBP when he fought Pac. That was back when GBP and Top Rank were feuding.

    Not in years, man.

The days of the four-headed dragon (ODLH, Mosley, Hopkins and MAB all being partners as well as flagship in-ring stars) are long gone. He stopped being a partner by 2010 or so and hasn't been promoted by them since he drew with Mora.

He and Oscar did sit together side by side to do a piece with Lampley giving their breakdown of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and they did act chummy for the cameras, but they're both suich phony bastards it was probably all plastic smiles through grinding teeth.

How the heck would he know? Shane Lost to all 3, And all 3 lost to Floyd. Ain't no shame in losing to the best, which happens to be Canelos only loss. He gave Floyd too much damn respect, but i doubt Canelo gives the same respect to cotto. He will push the Pace and the pressure will be too much going down the stretch of the fight. Cotto is no pushover, and will have success early on but will get Starched by the sharp counter punching machine, Canelo Alvarez around the 10-11th rounds.

You know, I used to think Mosley seemed like a great guy and even though I was an Oscar fan, I always gave credit to mosley in the first fight that he won. But over the years, starting to believe he's as fake as they come and a real piece of ****.

Cotto is the better fighter, more ring savy and much more experienced. If canelo wins its just Cotto being past his best and too much ring wear. I don't have much faith in Canelo, i've never thought he was a great fighter.
