The same Mosley who couldn't knock out Luis Collazo...i doubt it. Actually I think Marquez would box Mosley rather handily for some stretches of the fight.:deal

It would be and that could be one of the reasons but he could have finished Marquez anytime in that fight and i know that for a fact he need those rounds.

if you back read my posts, i didn't brought the JMM weight issue thing up.
i was just replying to someone's post.

and you just repeated what you said. which the point is, if Pac made a mistake, it's okay for Floyd to make one too.

so you're basically saying it's okay that Floyd asked JMM to come at 144 and even cheated on the weigh-in by coming at 146 just because Pac asked Oscar to come down to 147.

well, but for arguments sake, let's say that statement is valid(i really don't think so). i would still say that asking a fighter to come up from 135 to 144 and cheats on the weigh in is worse than what Pac did to Oscar.

first of all, Floyd already had all the advantages for Marquez, if you go back at that fight, the only thing Marquez fans was holding on was the 144 catch weight, which some believe was the only thing that gives Marquez a chance against Floyd. and then come the day of the weigh in Floyd changes the contract and takes away the only chance of Marquez.

and go back to the Pac vs Hoya fight, Pac was an undergod, almost nobody said that Pac has a chance against Hoya, even the philippine medical association thing i think tried to request that Pac be banned from fighting Oscar. and then come fight night, excuses came flooding

and i agree, Oscar was dehydrated, Team Pac made a mistake, I even criticized Pacquiao on his own forums, and i got a lot of heat from the "*******s"

but again, it doesn't mean that if Pac make a mistake, it's okay for Floyd to do too.

after all, After the Oscar fight, Pacquiao proved himself that he can take on bigger guys like Hatton and Cotto anyway. so for me that pretty much makes me forget that he asked Oscar to come down in weight. and now he is fighting Clottey at 147.

and about "the dude" that gave as the quote..
"so because pacs a ***** its ok for floyd to be one too?"

he's Handle is Relentless, and i don't think he killed the intellectual conversation..

    i think he exposed you.

I don't think anyone would think that the Oscar Floyd fought was the same Oscar Pac fought. At that point Oscar had just come off a victory of destroying Mayorga, a person who Shane not to long ago struggled terribly with. Oscar actually had a meaningful title at the time, was a champion. And Floyd had to fight oscar with so many handicaps, ring size, glove size, 154 (when at the time he was pretty much a LW fighting at 140... skipped over 147!). Oscar pretty much fought on Pac's terms, and had not really done anything after the loss to Mayweather besides one fight with a blown up LW, when he thought he would've got a rematch with Floyd. And at that point did not fight for a while. Then took a fight with pac all weak. He couldn't do anything, even if he wanted to.

At the end of the day i always blame both sides and none of us actually know the REAL thoughts in either fighters mind, so i wish both sets of fans would stop putting words in the others mouth. As far as manny, i like him too but the probably is the people who surround him. It kinda reminds me of tyson, not much but it comes to mind. They have mixed the explainations so much, it just makes manny look scared or like he has something to hide.

and yet you criticizes Pac for asking Oscar to come down to 147, by that you're saying that Pac should have fought Oscar at 154. which pretty much contradicts what you were saying on your other posts.

no, if i remember correctly it came from Bob Arum, early on the blood testing issue.

Arum is the same as Roach, they sometimes open their mouths when they don't really know the real issue with Pac.

and no, i see a lot of floyd fans in the internet ridiculing Pac for being afraid of needles

There is no better or worst, they were both ***** moves. Pac made Cotto and Hoya come in at a weight that they should not have had to. But they accepted it, so they have to live with the consequences. Although cotto wasn't bad in his fight, there is no reason why the WW champion should have to fight at a catch weight. Hoya was completely drain, he was a dead man there. Cotto actually did good at points.

JMM called out Mayweather. A catch weight came up and May got it changed to 147... JMM accepted. That's not really a big issue. not at all. The big issue is Mayweather obviously never intended to come in at weight at all and didn't care to pay a penalty. Now that was terrible and poor on Mayweather's part. A real ***** move. There was no way may was going to fight at a catch weight. This is Mayweather we're talking. He feels people must make changes for him, not he for them. Him not coming in at the 147 weight was ridiculous, as far as I'm concerned -- terrible. JMM could've stepped away and at that point he had every reason too.

  12. Why would you say something that makes so much sense on here, you know the *******s don't wanna hear this ****.

arum would be a part of pacs "team" no? thats why i said it came from his team

and arum and roach are horrible...ive never seen such disorganization from a camp...one with that much money at stake and flowing through it....

and yes floyd fans have ridiculed that statement of pac being afraid of needles...look no further than the avatar of jacory harris....hes getting inked up....thats why floyd fans ridicule it...its a ridiculous statement in the first place
