i never had more respect to ike quartey then after i watched his fight with dela hoya.

as great as dela hoya, mosley and trinidad became, ike quartey could have easily been the favored to win over any of three at welterweight in my eyes.

quartey was a monster, huge powerful and ofcourse the jab that need no introduction (one of the all time greatest). aside from the dela hoya fight, i think quartey was only visably shaken by jose "the sleeping giant" louis lopez who was also a world class stand out when that sleeping giant came out.

At welter Tito was no where near the Tito who fought Winky at middleweight. I would still favor Quartey of course due to his superior boxing style, but Trinidad would have his moments with his left hooks and straight right.

As for Mosley, I don't know. Are we talking about a "normal mode" Shane Mosley or a "boosted mode" version ?

Quartey has the potential to get to Trinidad with his jab, but Trinidad would also have the potential to get to Quartey with his stamina and precision power. Good foils for each other either way.

Mosley I think would have too much speed for Quartey in the end.

I would see Ike's jab playing foil to Mosley's style like Forrest's did, but on the other hand Forrest was well larger than Mosley and was just as effective with the straight right and the rest of his arsenal as he was the jab, whereas Ike would mainly be pumping out the jab. I don't see Shane out-muscling Ike, who was quite sturdy, and his guard very tight, so it'd be difficult for Shane to break him down. I could see him doing damage inside with the left hook and combinations if he elects to stay there however, though he'd be eating a lot of jabs and counters in the process. Pretty much a pick'em for me.

I'd pick Tito to stop Ike mid rounds though, Ike would just be too stationary a target, especially for that crushing left hook.

i see mosley being to fast for quartey and mosleys punch variety would also help him like sweet pea said

but trinidad would be an interesting prospect i think this fight could be exciting as both fighters could beat each other i would favour tito though as i think his power and stamina would help as his power would tire quartey in the later rounds and tito would out work him the last few
