Wrong, The perfect fight for Shane right now especially if he wants Pacquiao he should fight a rematch with Collazo who does have a high work rate and who recently gave Berto the fight of his life

We're talking two different time zones here ....I'm talking from a purely economical standpoint.

Forest beat Mosley 3 out of 3 times :deal ( Once in amuters ) so Mosley needs to stay away from that *******. Bad matchup for him apparently. Forrest is the guy that got Mosley eliminated from the olympic trials! He's been nothing but a spoiler in Mosleys career..

So again, Forrest should not be a option unless its a LAST option.

Yes but honestly everybody is busy and I dont see much more money in a fight with Forrest than a fight with Collazo Forrest has just fallen off the deep end

I don't mean fight wise. Mosley would lose to Forrest even this faded form of Vernon. I mean it'd be at 154 and he's not made for 154. Vernon would handle Shane.

    I'm talking money wise only.

yeah its a shame but thats what money will do to a situation.. make it wrong

its not even about preparation for pacman.... you have to imagine how these potential match ups will go...

there's 4 major fighters in the scenario right now
    floyd-hatton-pacman-cotto

then theres 3 fighters looking inside from the outside
    shane-clottey-paul williams

theres 2 fights and 1 situation that will control what happens in the future
    hatton vs pacman
    cotto vs clottey
and floyd decision to come back or stay retired

    now ......

if pacman beats hatton the likely scenario will either be floyd or cotto (pending he beat clottey) in winter 09 or spring 10
if hatton beats pacman the liekly scenario will be either JMM in manchester or cotto (pending he beat clottey)

if cotto beats clottey the likely scenario will be either pacman or hatton and shane being on the tale end of them 2
if clottey wins its either paul williams or shane mosley... the other guys are to small or wont fight clottey

no matter how you paint up a scenario i dont see pacman or hatton going up against shane... it would be committing suicide for those 2 guys.... shane is basically waiting for a fight he wont get.... his best bet is to take a fight soon just to stay busy and then hoping he gets cotto or by some miraculous occurance floyd decides to fight him.....

its not about getting a "big fight" though.... its about just keeping busy with a great challenge that will bring in some money and put a nice name on the resume

Why should he rematch Collazo :patsch A slick south paw that makes people look bad? Oy, at least with Vernon he can repair his legacy and avenge a loss. He should do nothing but legacy or money fights now. Judah, berto, Collazo are neither of those.

    basically

shane doesnt really fit in pacman-hatton-floyd's plans... cotto kind of but for cotto to fight shane pacman and hatton would have to not pursue cotto fights

unless floyd for some odd reason decides to fight hatton again..... chances of that are slim to none

Shane has said he's happy to wait it out until the big match ups come around. I don't think he's interested in a stay busy fight.

Judah unfortunately isn't a big match at this point. Now if Zab were able to upset someone at 147 lbs this could be a bigger fight.

Honestly Mosley is really at his best sitting out and waiting for the big fights. You gotta remember the dude is aging and may not have another Margarito type performance in his bag. For instance how bad would it be if Mosley took a warm up fight against a guy like Collazo rematch (or Issac Hlatswayo even) and got schooled? It'd be brutal.

thats what im saying tho.... nobody is going to fight him and hes going to wind up on his ass

    floyd wants pac or jmm
    pac wants floyd or cotto
hatton wants floyd or jmm or cotto
    cotto wants pac or hatton
shane wants all 4 of them but none of them want him... you see ?

shane is going to end up on his ass with no fight.. if pac wins and floyd vs pac is set up and hatton takes jmm in the uk.... shane vs cotto is all that could possibly happen

    edit:

and im pretty confident shane would win.... it would be an intense sparring session

I see your point..but I don't think Judah brings enough financial return for him to take that fight honestly.

Also don't count out you know who whose currently on suspension in a rematch.

judah brings no financial return but shane is just going to end up sitting on his ass and getting rusty

the only people who will fight shane are

    cotto-clottey-paul williams

if cotto for some odd reason fights hatton or pacman shanes going to end up sitting on his ass and will even get more rusty and wind up fighting someone who is younger and hungrier like clottey or williams or unless by some magical feat floyd decides to take the fight..... which is slim

Shane should just play the retirement card like Floyd did, and claim that he knocked out the man who Floyd ducked there is nothing left for him to do, he knocked out a man that nobody has before.

then come back when the smoke clears~ he has the time there is nothing out there for him now so say your retired do a mayweather and come back when the dust settles and pick whats there for ya.
