They were supposed to fight at 154, as soon as Mosley easily disposed of Winky Wright. I'm almost sure contracts had already been signed with the condition he beat Winky.

It all depends on Mosley. If he chooses to box and move he can win a 8-4/7-5 UD decision. However considering Mosley likes to get stuck in and tends to lose focus there is a good chance he may get KO'ed. As Hopkins and Winky have shown, you need to be 100% focused and 110% disciplined when you are fighting Tito.

Forgot about that proposed matchup. That would've been a dangerous proposition for Shane considering how sluggish he looked. The Shane with Joe Goosen would've been a good matchup though. He threw some wicked combos in that fight, but Winky's defense and workrate were still too much to handle. I don't think Tito would've ever made 154 anyway.

Tito wins this one by ko mid fight. Shane exchanges, Tito destroys exchangers. No way does Shane have the defence to hold out or win by points. Shane will only have to get caught once to be seriously hurt. It's not about chins or speed. It's about hitting Tito without letting him hit you back. We all know Shane likes to slug it out and that will be his downfall. It would be a good five, six rounds while it lasts. :good

Gotta go with Mosley as well I just wanna touch on one thing and its everyones like oh well Mosley brawls that means Tito will KO him. Mosley brawled with Oscar De la Hoya who hit him clean many times and never even moved him and DLH is right on Titos level in punching power even better when Tito has his hands wrapped correctly just ask Mayorga.

Tito wins. Mosley was never much of a boxer and would rather exchange punches with his opponents at midrange, his style plays perfectly into Tito's hand. Defensively Shane isn't so great and I see him getting caught with big punches should they decide to trade. He lacks an authoritve jab to outbox Tito (Like Winky/Forrest/Cotto/DLH), although his footspeed could give Trinidad problems (if he uses it). Tito's advantage in power, accuracy and technique would overwhelm Molsey's best assets, allowing him to land the better shots at mid-range. Honestly Molsey was never hard to drag into a brawl, the same would happen hear and lead to his demise.

Each round both fighters would have there moments, however Trinidad would definately land the harder shots and get the better of it as the fight wears on. Eventually Trinidad's left hook and right hand would being to find the mark more often, there is only so much someone can take and I expect a corner stoppage late in the fight. (A decision is also quite likely if his corner is stubborn)

Shane gives a good account of himself but unfortunately Trinidad wins by late TKO. :good

I agree with almost everything you have to say but would like to point out that Trinidad's defence was underrated. He gives a prime example of his defence when facing a quick hard puncher in Hoya. Very impressive to watch there.

Well at 147 I'd give Shane a decent shot at pulling it off because at that weight a prime Shane could move around laterally very well which gives Trinidad much problems... but at 154 Mosley doesn't stand a chance. He's too stable and hittable for Tito at that weight. Mosley would've gotten a Ricardo Mayorga type beating in that fight and been KOed in 9 or 10. It all depends on the weight.
