Watch Mosely sparring JCC and tell me he would have stood in front of Trinidad.

Hell, even in the Vargas fight he is on his toes using the ring.

    Mosley W12 Trinidad.

Mosley was on his toes in the rematch and looked fabulous but he was flat footed in the 1st Vargas fight. Mosley very rarley uses his toes although when he does hes more powerful and quicker.

as they say a million times , styles make fights and its true, just because Mosley was more competitive vs Winky and Oscar doesnt mean he will win against Tito.

well if you want to go that way how about the fight between a wash up Vargas vs Mosley , Tito put a way better performance against a prime Vargas IMO.

^Stylistically Mosley is a better boxer than Trinidad, that's why he did better against Winky and Oscar than Tito.

How do you figure ? Shane was clearly beating Vargas legally in the first fight shutting his eye. Then he shuts him out and brutally stops him in the 6th. Never once did Shane low blow Vargas ever time he gained momentum and he never once got put on his ass.

Mosley-Vargas isn't really relevant to the discussion. Vargas was not close to what he once was in 2006, and Mosley was clearly better at 147 in the late 90s/early 00s than at 154 in 2006.

Interesting how many here are saying Tito by KO. Shane has never been KO`ed. Even when Vernon Forrest had him teetering after coking off worst on an illegal headbutt he still couldnt KO Shane and Shane still went the full 12. Tito can crack but he can only hit static targets. Shane was faster had a much more potent offense than the 1 dimensional Tito. Definitly a pick em fight but i like Shane by UD or possible late TKO. Tito was too easy to hit and tired in the later rounds. Back then Shane was a speed demon and could fight 3 minutes for 15 rounds!

Tito tired in the late rounds? Maybe after the Hopkins beatdown and his eventual decline, but in his prime Tito didn't get tired late. On the contrary , he could fight 15 rounds comfortably. Had great stamina.

Yeah, Trinidad had very good stamina. Even in the DLH fight, when he was having weight problems, he had a lot of energy at the end.

Trinidad would get to Shane's body in the fight. He is an underratted body puncher and from judging what a taller Vernon Forrest was able to do, Tito would have had fun with Shane's smaller body.

Trinidad. Mosley was just not big enough and he was too willing to go toe to toe in his prime.
