Shane was big for lightweight, so the matchup in terms of size should be okay even though Shane skipped 140.

I favor Shane to win a wild fight here.

Pryor was damn good. But so was Mosley at his best. I would vision Pryor winning a decision in a great fight, Mosley having his moments too of course but Pryor coming out as a winner in the end

This fight is a toss up. Splenda Shane wins if he uses the services of Victor Conte. Meanwhile Pryor wins if he’s allowed to drink from the black bottle.

Shane was big for lightweight and Pryor was a small jrwelter if others can drop Pryor I can see a top quality fighter with speed and power like Mosely KO'g Pryor

Mosley is another that has kinda tarnished his legacy by fighting on for far too long and becoming a shadow of the fighter he was when he was in his prime but at his best he was a great fighter, especially at lightweight. Even at 140 pounds, I can see him take a close decision against Pryor.

I don't know why but I see Shane winning this. Keeping it inside and being strong and winning a late round TKO.

Pryor was dropped by other fighters because of being recklessly aggressive, not because of a weak chin. And the minute he got up it was plain to see he really wasn't hurt, and would usually win the rest of the rd. Sometimes stopping that fighter in the same rd he was dropped in. Mosely to me was a plan "A" fighter. And when Plan A was taken away their wasn't a plan "B". He would get this " deer in the head lights". Look, and not adjust to what his opponent was doing when they took away Plan A . Even in his prime, his losses always looked the same way when his initial fight plan was taken away. He would need to be able to adjust in the heat of the moment against any ATG. And esp Pryor. I see Pryor coming out like a rocket like he usually did getting in some heavy exchanges with Mosely early. But Pryor would make the adjustments after realizing he probably wasn't going to knock Mosely out, possibly getting dropped himself. Make the adjustments box a little more disciplined with his aggressiveness, go on and win the fight with his activity be it a 12rd or 15rd fight. Mosely, like he always did, wouldn't come up with an answer to the crazy attack angles Pryor was capable of coming from.

DuJuan Johnson face planted prime Pryor his miraculous recoveries were generally due to being a flash KD or help from drugs....he is one of the most overrated fighters of his era most knew why he stayed at 140 instead of losing the soft fat and going to 135 or going up to 147 he stayed in a mediocre division fighting fighters not good enough to compete in the two money divisions above and below...Mosely was several levels of skill above Pryor who liked to fight with his hands at chest level and his chin up. The only issue the former featherweight Arguello had with Pryor was whatever drugs Pryor was on that let him bounce back when most fighters were looking for the 2nd wind the naturally smaller Arguello was at the tail end of his career and was a better 135.

    Your op
    D
That's your opnion , your entitled to it . But He did stop D.Johnson right? He did fight Arguello twice right? What's the excuse for the 2nd fight? You say he didn't want to fight strong opposition but, Cervantes,Johnson Arguello would beg to differ. He also publicly challenged the premier fighter of that era R.Leonard. anyone can shade a point to strengthen their point of view. But I've read any plenty of magazines none of the championship fighters in the light weight division wanted anything to do with Pryor. High risk, no real reward. Same reason Leonard didn't fight him. (Though Leonard or any of the great Welters of that era would've beat him in my opnion. He was just to small for that weight.) Lastly, what drug stops a man from getting knocked out? What drug that last only the length of the fight? Immediately before the fight, he's normal, immediately after the fight he was normal. As many post fight interviews I saw Pryor have. Nothing indicated he was on drugs at that moment. Pryor got caught up with Cocaine and it ruined his life and career. But it didn't help him win fights. Get over the magic bottle nonsense.
