Shane Mosley Vs Amir Khan at 147. Thoughts on this as Khan's first test @ the weight?

Apart from Alexander, who else would there be for Khan to test the waters with? Maybe Senchenko, but Khan would most likely outbox him and it wouldn't be a very credible win at the weight. I think aging Mosley could still be a good test for Khan at 147.

Does anyone else think this would be a good fight to test the waters at the weight? Shane has a reasonable chin, power, above average speed and can still box well.

    Thoughts?

Mosley is shot to ****, but would be interesting to see what would happen if he landed cleanly. Not sure Khan would be able to take it.

Khan should be able to back pedal and flurry enough to win a UD but if Sugar Shot Mosley catches his it's lights out

This^ Khan wouldn't fight Mosley for that reason, Shane lands his power, it's over.

If Mosley goes after him like he did Khan, he can ko Khan, but Khan's speed may make Mosley go timid

If Mosley can somehow put that same punch he put on Mayweather on Khan, Khan will to everybody's surprise retire before Mosley.

Mosley won't punch, Khan will cruise to a wide UD, and the "he's ready for Mayweather" bull**** will start back up.

Mosley no longer has the reflexes to outbox Khan. Outside of Khan getting over anxious and staying in the box long enough to get nailed with a counter right, he should dance to a clear decision.

If he wins, he beat a shell of Mosley. If he happens to get caught, his career takes a big step back. I'd probably place him with a more active, less powerful fighter.

Great fight for Khan. Rounds under the belt..... but as is the case with most of Amir Khan fights, can he stay out of trouble. Mosley is not the force he once was, but he certainly has enough in the tank to go 12, he's done so many times. Mosley most certainly will not be stopped and is a tremendous body puncher and the most important note of all, he throws wide hooks. If it's true what they say, the last thing a fighter will lose is his power, then this would be exceptional victory for Khan if he were to pull it off. Good fight for the fans. But a dangerous one to welcome you to a new weight class.
