Shane Mosley vs Paul Williams? I think shane ****s him up

Verry bad style match up for mosley.

Rinse and repeat, 12 round beatdown again. Mosley would never take this fight, he will lose.

 

Williams doesnt fight anything like Wright or Forrest.

Williams likes to trade too much and against Sugar Shane that could be his undoing.

PW has been begging to tap that ass for two years now. Shane says he's past that point in his career of fighting big risk low reward fights.



Do I think Shane could beat him? Sure he could theoretically, but until he fights him we will never know.


By the way, you will never get me to sign on to the theory that Shane is a worse matchup for PW than Mosely. Martinez is the truth. Believe that ****, homeboy!

 

Mosley has problems fighting tall guys because he likes to leap in and stike and then come back out. If paul worked a decent gameplan akin to forrest and winky (use the jab to jam him when he tries to come in) then i see an easy night for paul. But ofcourse, if he decides to trade with mosley(which would be stupid), then yea mosley's chances greatly increase. But still, mosley throws too many 1 or 2 punch combos. He needs to throw more, or paul will outwork him

 

Paul can't go ape**** on Shane and think he's going to be the one stalking, because then he can get laid out and real quick.

He'd have to box Shane.

 

Since you like to talk so much about other fighters ducking Williams,lets wait to see if your boy gives Martinez a rematch.

 

I don't talk so much about them duckin P... just Shane, Floyd and Cotto.

Pretty much have to agree with you on all of this post. Oh well. Think Pdub brings more to the table now for Mosely? Not that it will matter.... People kept claiming Martinez couldn't bang and I would bring up the phantom KO of Kermit (it had to be a head butt because NO ONE hits that hard) Cintron. Props to Pdub for this one. After the first three rounds I didn't know how Pdub would pull it out short of a KO. I didn't do a round by round, but it was close.

 

Mosely won't take the fight. He's said as much. Maybe that'll change if he still can't hook up with a Pac/Mayweather winner, but right now Shane wants no part of him.

I agree, PW is not Wright/Forrest all over again. He's not the best match to Shane, but not the worst either. I think Shane would have a good shot.
