Shane Mosley vs Paul Williams? I think shane ****s him up

Martinez might actually be more dangerous for Shane. Shane would be made to miss a good deal (landing flush on Martinez is an entirely different task from landing flush on Margarito...Shane's just not as fast as he once was, and certainly not his fastest above 147...) and while he fights close to every minute of every round, he does take more breaks than Paul, so the late fuel shortage may not become an issue for Sergio.

 

Bad match for Mosley. If he fights smart, Williams will win for sure. If he fights dumb, he would still most likely win. Now that performance against Margarito was great but IMO that was a perfect storm for a big Mosley win: Marg. is slow, uses his chin for defense, had weight issues, had taken severe punishment from Cotto, and got busted right before the fight for spiked gloves. Too much is being made of Mosley's fantastic victory over Marg., and not enough is being said about his fights with Mayorga, Cotto, etc.

 

SSM is a better fighter. But Paul Williams is 6'3 with a 500 inch wingspan. If I was SSM I wouldn't risk it. I would wait for Pac-Mayweather winner and see if they'd fight me. If they declined, then I would fight Williams. But not before.

 

How did you have it a split decision? were you handling three scorecards and disagreed on who won some rounds with your self? :huh

I Can't stand this moron bladerunner but here atleast he knows what hes talking about PWIll and Forrest are not even the same, Williams throws punches in high volumes no doubt, but if sergio can counter him with the right over and over again what do you think happens when shane connects.

All the people say that Paul is a terrible match up for Mosley. I believe that a good inside fighter that is big for WW and O.K JMW as Mosley will KTFO Paul but he wants only the big fights so he is not going to risk it against Paul yeat.

 

I think Williams would come in with a boxing game plan to beat Mosley. Mosley would lose a decision if he moves up to 154. We can't go by what Mosley did to Marg and how Williams faired with Martinez. Williams would outbox Mosley unless he gets caught by doing the opposite which would be going toe to toe. Mosely has other plans, like waiting on the Pac vs PBF to come off. Money is at the end of the rainbow not taking a chance with a bigger fighter. He is 38 and trying to secure as much pay as possible. I would do the same.

 

The thing about this is that PW does not utilize his reach. I think he would be inside all night long then stop PW in the mid rounds.
PW is just way too hittable. Sometimes Martinez would just wing his shots and he would still land them. I think Mosley is a little bit faster than Martinez. One of Mosleys left hooks and PW is on ***** street waiting to be knocked out.
