IMO this is a hard one I cant really decide who takes this. All I know for sure that would have been a classic fight right there.
So who wins and how? :bbb

The 147 Duran that beat Leonard or Palomino would beat any version of Mosely, just too well rounded, especially defensively.

    Duran by a wide UD.

I'm not so sure if Mosley has the style or ring smarts to make it the distance.

I agree, Plus fighters back then were conditioned to go 15.
    Extra advantage towards "El Cholo"

I understand where yall coming from but I think yall underestimating mosley by saying he would lose a wide ud or by ko Imo the fight would be close I cant see duran knockin out mosley thats for sure after reflection i would probably say duran by close decision imo prime mosley at 147 that won against oscar has the stamina the chin and the skills to make this a competitive fight.

aye I'll leave you to it, you're obviously quite a big Shane fan and whilst I admire his skills and like him as a person from what he shows the media he'll always have that shadow of doubt over him for me. Great fighter on his day but I just can't put him in the bracket. Still the whopping he put down on Margocheato will always be one of my favourite boxing memories so I'm thankful for that.

Hard fight to figure. I go back and forth on this one. The guys who beat Duran had fast handspeed and legs and if a guy was fast and used the ring they would beat Duran and sometimes easily like Hearns or Benitez or Leonard. Mosley fights in one spot too much, he has great hand speed, but not great defense. Benitez had great defense so Duran couldn't use his punching power (which he still had at higher weights). UD for Duran.

It would be a better fight at their natural weight 135lbs, there Duran the greatest lightweight of all time wins a 15 round decision, but doesnt have it all his own way, shane wouldnt stand still , and could hit so hard at 135.
