I haven't an example where Mosley is a devastating puncher at 154. I think James would take this one and probably force Mosley into retirement. Kirkland is many things, and lacks plenty as a fighter, but in any offensive fight no man can really go to war with him and expect to win. Mosley would have to clinch (see Molina).
And Ishida is a devastating puncher??? It doesn't take a devastating puncher to hurt that joke. He is wobbled in nearly every fight regardless of the quality of fighter/puncher he is fighting.
I'll still go with Kirkland. Mosley is 40 years old and not a big jmw. And i think had Molina been penalized for holding, the fight might've turned out different. But given Mosley's experience, i wouldn't completely rule him out.
I looked at Molina's face in the interview on the scene, Kirkland beat his ass, badly. I mean seriously, his liped was badly damaged, had bruises and knots all over his face. Despite what he says he was hurt by the knockdown as well.
I noticed that also, Bama. While Kirkland seemed to not land many punches cleanly, the way Molina's face looked like, it was like Kirkland beat on him the entire fight. Recently, Mosley went down against Pacquiao and was hurt and overwhelmed by Mayweather. Kirkland hits harder than either of them. It would be like Forrest vs Mosley, but eorse.worse
