Wait a ****ing second... That video is edited and while Mosley does look like he wants to quit and survive, we hardly know the full picture.

I mean his team after the fight mentioned his new shoes ****ed up his feet badly during the fight. He wore those shoes against nazim wishes. Apparently a friend gave them as a gift and they hadn't been run in, probably bella bought them for him.

Can't call him a quitter because he didn't actually quit. Can just say he lacked belief in his ability and that came from having the injury to his foot. In the video he even points to his shoes. He didn't do an Alexander, no did he do a Durrell, he got up off the floor and survived despite being badly injured/hurt on his feet

Those were shoes given to Shane by Chop Chop Corley, who has his own line of Boxing shoes. He talks about it here around the 3:10 mark..

I just "love" how you can come to an internet boxing forum and find countless posts like these. Some guy banging away at his keyboard calling a fighter a coward or some other similar term when they themselves have never gotten remotely close to competing at the elite level of boxing(i.e. never fought before). When they never have been in a situation where they're getting pummeled and have to deal with it round after round with no foreseeable reprieve other than the end of a round(the kind of person who cries when their nose gets busted). And on top of that, to generalize all American fighters by the fact that one American fighter at the end of his illustrious career that was wrought with countless examples of heart and courage finally showed signs of being human.

Why did you wait until so late in Shane's career to start this thread, when he was hopelessly outgunned by a younger, and faster future HOF opponent? Because you're an idiot that has no better and no more reasonable way to start some childish and nationalistic argument that is not based on boxing but blind love of country. And like all arm chair quarterbacks/keyboard warriors you will inevitably say "If that was me I would have fought til my dying breath....I would have never even entertained the idea of quitting!" And that would be where you're either a liar, so out of touch with reality it's unreal, or both.

As humans, our minds go through many thoughts in times of distress, and that includes the "**** this I'm outta here" thought. Only fake ass tough guys who call themselves trying to impress with words and not action say that. The thought to quit will always be there within anyone's mind in such situations whether a fighter chooses to admit it or not. It's those who choose not to listen to it who are the courageous ones. Shane showed great heart throughout his career(first Forrest fight anyone?)

I bet you think Dwight Muhammad Qawi had no heart because he quit against the much larger George Foreman in a fight many pounds heavier than he should have been fighting and against a man he simply could not hurt but who could badly hurt him. Of course you do TS, because you're an idiot.

This is what I've been trying to get some clowns on here to realize...Instead, they'll rather throw around lame ass insults like Bandeehoe!

Me personally, I'm not to big of a fan of Mosley, but there is no way I would call him a coward...The man has done more than enough to prove himself the opposite of being a coward...People on here seem to be so fickle!:-(

I am a Mosley fan and he did show heart many times(Cotto, DLH, Margarito, Wright, Forrest, Vargas, Collazo, etc.) but the only area to question him on is his cheating in the DLH rematch with EPO, that's it. He's shown his heart in most of his career and now is fighting for money while countless armchair ***gots would not muster the heart to even fight each other in a ring. Funny when it's them watching fights and not getting those same punches thrown at them. Also, people have selective memory and only remember what they want to and not all that happened.

:good Thats what kept me from becoming a fan of his...I still question the EPO situation, but that still doesnt keep me from respecting him as a fighter!

I guess its easy to hurl insults about a fighter from the safety of your computer...In which is the case with this thread!

I'm still a fan....rocky situation but I have his fights and love seeing a young Shane do his thing. Shane's not the only one to dope as it seems people sweep Vargas' steroid problem under the rug just because he lost. I love looking at Holy too though I can't really consider myself a fan but even he is a very possible doper. Still it is all speculation whether RJJ, Toney, Vargas, Holyfield, Mosley, etc. doped more in their careers but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and they all were very good(Vargas) and great(Holy,JT, RJJ,Mosley) fighters.

Yeah, an internet warrior who has never been against a pro fighter in their life calling guys cowards who have done that in their lives and have been in wars in the ring....the irony:lol:. What's next, Holyfield is a "glass hearted fighter" because he's old and wanted out against Williams despite, like Shane, showing a warrior heart in just about most of his fights?:rofl
