Shane Mosley needs to keep busy I think he should just fight Paul Williams or another welterweight because if Mayweather is fighting Marquez and Pacquiao could be fighting either Cotto or Mayweather later on that leaves Shane with no opponents for a while and if he beats Paul Williams it can make a statement and possibly bring more money for a matchup between Mosley and Mayweather or Mosley and Pacqiao even Quintana would be a good fight for Shane I think hes making a mistake waiting so long after having a great win against Margarito

Williams is a bad style Match up for him and will only set Mosley back and potentially cost Mosley a BIG fight.

Shane has earned the right to land a mega fight. Mayweather, Pac or Cotto 2. In that order or just hang 'em up.

mosley needs to take the winner of cotto vs clottey...

if cotto beats clottey.. then beats shane... cotto can be in the sweep stakes for the winner of pac vs floyd

if cotto beats clottey.. then loses to shane... shane can be in the sweep stakes for the winner of pac vs floyd

if clottey beats cotto.. then shane beats clottey... shane can still be in the pac vs foyd sweep stakes

if clottey beats cotto... then beats shane... him & paul williams need to face off

Shane should not fight Paul Williams. He can beat Clottey, Cotto, Pac and maybe Mayweather. I can't see him winning over Williams.

Mosley has already passed on Williams, but fighting Cotto or Clottey would do wonders, too bad Arum might have Cotto fighting Pac before year's end.

for some reason i believe that the only way mosley will get his big fight this year is if cotto loses to clottey and mayweather loses to marquez and i think even if floyd lost to marquez a mayweather vs mosley fight would still be more profitable than a mayweather vs marquez just imagine a 24/7 show for that fight!

I'm really surprised by how little Shane's name crops up on boxing forums, whilst the majority bang on about "also rans".To me Shane epitomise's what being a professional boxer is all about and i dont think he gets enough credit for it.I would hope he'd fight the winner of the Cotto Clottey fight.

Shane needs to stay busy - but he probably only has one or two more fights left in him. He deserves a marquee big name match up to go out on.

shane is 37 years old i think, so he should have a rest and wait for the oppurtunity. at this stage of his career he doesn't need to be fighting 3 times a year. he made his statement against margarito and is now waiting for cotto to dispatch clottey so the rematch can be made.

Mosley will end up with a megafight but inactivity will have to be the sacrifice for one.

No need to fight Williams. Mosley has made a career out of fighting guys like Williams. No need to do that at damn near 38.
