i find it funny how after the mayorga fight even though shane won the fight by ko,everybody was looking at him as berto's "opponent"(i've always thought berto isn't ready for him) or a guy berto can use to step up in class. After the fight fell thru and mosley was set to face margarito everybody thought shane was going to get hurt badly because everybody was on the margo hype train then when mosley knocks out a one dimensional punching bag,he is all of the sudden back as a top guy who will "destroy" berto then have pac and mayweather for lunch and dinner.I think he will beat berto but not as easily as everybody thinks and i also think mosley is believing his own hype and getting 2 confident when after the cotto fight, everybody thought he wasnt what he used to be..so if you are on the mosley hype train, all i'm saying is prepared to be dissapointed sometime in the near future(not against berto...maybe) because just like the margo hype train, the mosley hype train will crash 2

Mayorga beat Vernon Forrest twice, he can be a nightmare and he is MUCH bigger then Shane and knew how to use his size. Also, Shane just didn't look like himself. You forget that Shane also made Collazo look like **** and dropped him once. Margarito might be one dimensional, but that one dimension was good enough to destroy Cintron twice, beat Cotto and Clottey.

Shane Mosley is not some up and coming prospect...you can TRY and play this "hype" game with us about him, but everyone who follows boxing knows that Shane Mosley is above that and he has proved himself to be a GREAT fighter.

Mosley will beat the hoodoo outta berto. Mayweather will be harder but I favor Shane. Pac will be sent back to reality on the 14th.

Yup. And personally, the reason I think he'd destroy Berto has less to do with the fact that he beat Margarito and more with the WAY in which he did it.

I kind of think the same. He was so lucky against Mayorga, who he should have beaten easily. I still think he could easily whoop Berto though.

This won't even be a fair fight. Berto has no place in the ring with Mosley right now. He still yells when he throws punches.

Mosley takes it to Berto from the opening bell.

Shane is pretty much shot. The Mayorga fight spoke volumes and slow ass Marg wasn't exactly an impressive fight. Plus, Shane looked slower than ever and really pulls his punches now.

Berto is just not impressive, whenever he fights he never impresses me,he looked very uneffective against Urango who was a JR.Welterweight,he never hurt him not even once!!
and now hes going up against an experienced hall of famer fighter whos very determined to get back to the top,...look for Berto to take a beating

To be fair he did pull them right onto Margo's chin all night - I watched it again about a week ago and he hurt him in almost every round. At the time I watched expecting a recovery and scored it much closer than 2nd time around.
