corners do not matter. Emanual Steward would be a good trainer for Mosley, just because he could maximize the punching part of Shane's game, which is essential against Floyd.
In Mosley's own words " things had gone dead between me and my Dad " that speaks volumes , im not a boxer but i do train boxing and have a little spar , and i couldnt imagine that feeling of things being dead in the gym for a world champion , its liking taking a fish out of water , what the **** can you acheive in the ring if nothing is happening in the gym ???? Weve all heard from Hopkins how good this guy is too , about how much attention to detail Richardson pays , and that is coming from one of the finest tactical fighters in the modern game . So in my view , if Richardson hadnt of come in Mosley would of retired by now , or found someone else to rekindle the spirit , either way with Jack M Sr he would not have blitzed Margarito and wouldnt be getting considered as highly as he is now .
Nazim is more like a reality check-er for Shane rather than a motivator. Of course, all trainers are there to motivate their fighters, before the fights, in between rounds and to check for their safety during the fights as well. However, Shane is a highly motivated athlete already and even tho, he's on the twilight of his professional career and with one of the three biggest fights of his career ahead, even tho he has had major setbacks in his personal life recently, he needs more advice and guidance more than motivation boosts like his father and Goosen used to do. I think either J D Jackson Or Nazim or Bernard himself would play that role. Shane has the same chances as ever against Floyd and those are higher than Oscar's at 154, Hatton's at 147 and JMM's of course.
