Mosley does not get it?! Why will PBF fight Mosley?! Mosley you are a legit threat to PBF that is why he would not fight you. He's not a risk taker! In other words he does not have the BALLS to fight you!:rofl

 

ummmm....Mayweather actually called him out a few years back and Mosley wouldnt do it..this mirrors the Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins saga....

 

Pacquiao = A LOT MORE money, P4P #1 Status, Fighter Of his generation status
Mosley= OK money, A WW Belt

Mosley and Pacquiao have roughly the same chance of beating Floyd. Why should Floyd go for Mosely instead of going for the #1 rated fighter in a fight of the century so far for the most amount of money there is available.

Whether you love or hate Floyd you have to realise that the Pac fight is better for him, financially and career wise, if he wins he'll be regarded as the undisputed best fighter of his generation. If he beats mosley, he wont get that status. If he fights Pac he'll make a hell of a lot more than he wudfightin Mosley.

Come ON Guys. Its only a logical decision. I know that I like many of you would fight the Pac-Cotto winner, and if he still wants to fight after that then the Mosely fight can happen.

 

Mosley does not get it. Floyd called u out in the past, and you gave some of the saddest excuses I ever heard for ducking someone. Now that he's older, he's probably got to pay his ex wife alimony, he just wants to get paid. You can't duck Floyd and then get mad now that he's got other options and isn't worried about you.

I would disagree.

I wouldn't give Pacquiao much of a chance of beating Mayweather whereas I see Mosley giving Mayweather hell.

I think Floyd beats both, mind.

This is all obviously premised on Pacqiuao overcoming Cotto but I don't think he will.

Mayweather should fight Mosley and then the winner of Cotto/Pacquiao.

 

when mosley was on top and mayweather wanted to fight him mosley wouldnt do it so now the tables have turned and mosley wants the fight why should floyd give it to him? I wouldnt give mosley jack **** he wouldnt give floyd a fight in 1st place so **** him. even if they did fight floyd would just get stick for beating an old man.

 

Shane has both more balls and more brain damage than Floyd.

 

I don't see what the problem is.

I really don't care who ducked who in the past or who is the bigger draw or who had toothache or who bummed who's mother. The bottom line is if Mayweather wants to make some decent money and more importantly, wants to add greatly to his legacy then he should fight Mosley AND the winner of Cotto/Pac. Which one should he fight first? I really don't care. But as long as he steps into the ring with both in the next 12 months then i will be happy.

 

Shane wouldnt fight Mayweather because at the time "Money" was NOT a big draw! Floyd had like 12 people showing up for his fights and Mosely was fighting Wright and De Lahoya The same reason Pac doesnt fight bradly and a few others.....the money is with name fighters.
IMO Floyd doesnt have the same excuse.......Mosely is a name fighter who would put butts in the seats. Floyd is running out of people to duck and eventually will either have to retire again or fight.

 

Mosley does not put butts in the seats... Mosley is a great fighter, but for some reason, he can't attract fans to his fights.


Floyd would probably make similarm oney to what he did against marquez( around 10-15 M) ... he could possibly make 25M against Pac. So yeah, it's the same situation as it was before, but this time the roles are reversed... life's a *****.

 

I know PBF wanted to fight Shane when Mosley was still at 135 and Mosley ducked the possibility there....Why ? High risk/ low reward I guess like its the case most of the time...

But right after Vargas, I'm sure its $$$$$$$$, a **** load of it that prevented to take a chance with PBF-Mosley. I'm sure even the HBO execs weren't also thrilled at the idea to take the chance to lose that mula coming with De La Hoya !

We all know what was going on, but he sure should have been able to cover it up better. Even "It's a possibility, so is Floyd/Oscar. We'll sit down and sort it out."

I'm a big Mosely booster, but the vacation/loose tooth thing is about as weak as it gets.

As always, though, if May wants to say "I don't duck no one", which he does quite a bit, he should be fighting Shane. It'd be nice if Shane was next, but the financial argument for Pac will prevail if he beats Cotto.

 

Mosley is the avoided guy at welterweight. Sucks when you're the champ, and the contenders do not want to fight you...
