Say Mosley retires today, in 10-20 years how will he be seen? Where will he stand amongst the ATG's of the weight divisions he fought in?

an ATG the real deal a man who fought the best and fought the best above his True weight class. I respect Mosely and have him rated higher than any other current legend. You dont have to wonder about Mosely he fought and always looked for the greatest challenges. He could have Padded his record and played it safe, never did. Sugar brought excitement and was acredit to the game of Boxing

I dunno about where he stands @ lightweight. He ranks higher on the head-to-head matchups (which is very overrated when ranking fightes) than he does than accomplishments at lightweight. The Ring had him at like #16 or #17 all-time @ lightweight. Admittedly I need to do some more research before coming up with a list.

Thats what i've been saying he is a good fighter and all but his best win was against DLH and IMO DLH beat him the 2nd time..Other than that he fought a shot vargas who almost beat him the 1st time.. yea he fought the best and got beat (winky, forrest and cotto)..IMO he always had a chance of being ouutboxed

Vargas didn't almost beat Mosley in the first time.
Mosley was winning that fight. I had it 5-3-1 for Mosley. It was more a 5-4 or 6-3 for Mosley.

    Hof?

    Yes.

    Atg?

    I guess so.

    A Sugar?

    Not in my opinion.

Mosley accomplished alot but couldve done even more if he wasnt waiting
around for Oscar for a long time. He definitely couldve went to 140 for a while and
    probably of beaten Zoo.

He will be remembered as a borderline ATG who was worthy of being called "Sugar." He will also be remembered as guy who gave it his all every time out and gave the fans great shows.

His rankings by weight class (accomplishments)...
    Lightweight? Top 20-25
    Welterweight? Top 25-30
    Light Middleweight? Top 15-20

Let me guess, if he fights PBF, he turns into an ATG?

Seriously, everyone that hasn't stepped in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is "overhyped" in your eyes.

The best part about all of this is that guys like you consider guys like a shot Gatti and Carlos "I've Got a Rock Head" Baldomir good wins.
