David Estrada once said in an interview that the hardest punch he ever got hit with was a body shot against Mosley.

Say what you want...Shane has great power..sure he ain't Hearns or Tito for that matter..but he's got enough to hurt anyone...Mosley has got better power than Zab IMO..and so this scenario is not as simple as folks think..

The million dollar question here is...can Floyd take it..I'd think not.

Zab hurt Cotto far more than Shane. Cotto even claimed that Zab hit harder. Zab hit Floyd several times FLUSH with his money left hand and Floyd took them very well. Anything can happen in the ring, but I feel way too much is made of Shane's power. Mayorga was already a broken man when Shane fought him... his chin was touched by Trinidad and DeLaHoya. Clottey also stunned Margarito many times if you saw their fight, but lacked the follow through to make anything of it. All the proverbial stars will need to align for Shane to land that perfect shot that puts Floyd in danger.

I think shane possesses the ability to punch harder than zab, but zab caught cotto with more effective shots...

In the first few rounds cotto walked into some very fast, very well timed shots from zab, if mosley landed those shots, there is no way cotto survives....

However, mosley dosent have the speed to land those kind of shots anymore, and he was never a very skilled fighter either...

Mosley has respectable power at WW...u definitely dont want to try and absorb his shots through the fight ala Margarito.

Floyd is alot tougher than people give him credit for.

Fight should be pretty good but look pretty similar to Hatton fight.

Mosley will come out and look very good early press the action have crowd behind him and honestly this is the best time to beat Floyd....EARLY.

However early part of the fight rounds 1-4 Floyd is on his bike...he keeps space forcing the fighter to give chase...use those legs alot so they not there so much in the back half the fight...Mosley has great condition but you never are as fresh as you start...nobody is its just how it is. This also frustrates opponents make them get over anxious when they do get close and instead of throwing precise shots they throw wild shots at which it helps Floyds defensive shell even moreso because there not accurate and are wide...easily defelcted off his shoulders....also waisting energy. People underestimate his antics...but his antics no matter how cool they are outside the ring they still harvest them and when in the ring they over flow and emotions are dangerous in the ring...gotta stay relaxed part of the reason why Floyd is so precise and accurate....he stays level headed and can calculate his moves and exceute to perfection.

rounds 5-7 you will start to see the fight shift...the pace will slow down as Mosley will get tired of chasing..not physically per say but mentally he will want to slow down a little..this is where FLoyd starts his disection...methodical potshots..fight takes place in the center of the ring...Floy will always win in the middle of the ring...willing to bet he wins rounds 5-7 very easy.

Now here comes the back half the fight...by this time Floyd has taken control of the fight and the fighter and the cornerman have realized it...thus the fighter comes out in the fshion that they did in the earlier part of the fight...again you will see the same tactics however this time accumulation and fatigue will start to play a toll. Mosley will press harder and look for the KO even moreso or start taking risk....big no no with Floyd especially not being fresh. rounds 8-9 Floyd will resort to luring traps again keeping spacing in his favor wearing on the legs again and frustrating the fighter and the fighter tking even more risks to force action let his hands go....you will see more defense from Floyd which at times he will of course shoot scoring shots but nothing devastating or thrown with conviction only shots to score and keep opponent at bay however he will bike these two rounds more tie-ups also. Mosley should win maybe 1 round of these two off sheer activeness but depending on judges he wont have landed the more convincing shots as Floyd will have turned the fight into a slow pace...allowing him to get off great scoring potshots while your looking to just land anything maybe landing a couple solid scorers but you still get outlanded while being busy. Will be close rounds but a lot of it will be Floyd strinign the fighter along with defense and traps and that fighter just trying to get anything in.

Now 10-12 it can go either way..if Floyd feels comfortable with lead he will no doubt coast and will do so easily. If he feels he can get Mosley out of there he wont go all out but will fight in the middle of the ring allowing more action so he can get off counters still keeping good spacing but staying in the center.....if the fight is close he is unsure...same tactics apply...remain in the center of the ring and just out box Mosley and it will be alot easier because Mosley although in great shape still has dimished even moreso a younger quicker precise Floyd picks him apart in the middle of the ring....TKO somewehre between these rounds for Floyd who has just softened Mosley up methodicly.

Mosley can and will be beat purely off of Floyds smarts in the ring and talent...Mosley has the tools to get Floyd out of there physically but its the mental part i question for Mosley...he has shown us he cant adjust at least 5 times. We seen this...no matter how good your trainer you still have to posess the tools to carry the plans out...and craftiness and smarts are not Mosley's forte...not saying he is dumb or not knowledgeable....im saying he doesnt think on the level of the Floyds or B-hops in the ring while fighting.

definitely open for alternate endings like i said Mosley has a great skillset too and anything can happen....how do some of you see tis going...well in favor for Mosley.

IMO it's more of having powerful combinations, rather than one punch.

Which caught him off balance, plus Zab was stepping on his foot. Which doesnt mean anything because Floyd wasnt hurt, it wasnt a power shot it was a timing one. You know the difference dont you? Of course your ugly ass doesnt. :tired

Ha ha ha stop pretending like you know something, because obviously you're just a miserable clown-ass poser in love with another *** in Floyd. I bet you're jealous to death of Ellerbe aint ya :rofl

Mitchell and Corley are southpaws ******. I just explained to you why floyd has difficulties with southpaws. Can you read dumbass?
Yes, in the later rounds Floyd was walking Marquez down. Didnt see that fight either fatboy?
I bet you masturbate with scenarios where Floyd does everything according to your imagination :tired

Hatton was nearly knocked the **** out in the last round against Collazo, you ****ing moron :rofl
Of course you'd ***** out. Btw, your mothers still a *****.

amen brother! i couldn't have summed it up better. This fallacy that Mosely is a murderous puncher at 147 is curious and part of the distortion too many people do not challenge becuase of their irrational hatred of Money May. You are right to say that the likes of Oscar, Vernon and Cotto took his best shots! Margarito was battered into defeat not brutally concussed. now on the flip side i have maintaind for a while that people underestimate the dig behing Floyds punches. Floyd will definitely hurt you plenty if not stop you and one thing Hatton got right post fight was o highlight the punch accuracy. Punch accuracy allied with speed will kill you and hurt you over that winding up **** that Mosely often does. Shane gonna get hit plenty and he will get hurt!
