Shane Mosley's Reaction after Winning the 2nd De La Hoya fight

Ha, ha. I thought you were gonna have that Larry Merchant vid where he asks a smiling Mosley after the decision, "So, do you think you deserved that win?"
Mosley's smile drops.

 

I'm not saying Mosley won or lost but it's a bit like the Hopkins-Calzaghe fight. Joe's Dad told him he needed a knockout to win and then when the decision was announced Joe looked like he's won the lottery.

Oscar knew he lost. He did everything but disown the win, which he should've done. Even now when he brings up opponents he always brings that fight up as one where he came in unprepared and overlooking an opponent. But yeah, he was not smiling like the Mosley pic, he looked ashamed of the whole thing. I really wish he would have admitted to it publically cuz I know it was bothering him but I guess he would have missed the Hopkins fight. Looking back, that might not have been such a bad thing after all.

 

It was a close fight but I think De La Hoya deserved the nod. I was hoping Shane would win that fight but even I conceed he was beaten that night.

 

Nope. this is a good fight to determine who really knows how to judge. If you buy weaker punches...that's your dilemma.
