Shane/PAC at 140 - Is Mosley Crazy???

Ok - so the blogs are abuzz with the news that "Sugar" Shane Mosley has agreed to go down to 140 if it gets him a fight against the Filipino p4p champ, for the latter's IBO belt.

Now - call me crazy, but I think that Mosley at 140 will make the Oscar de la Hoya we saw fight Pacman look positively energetic! The man has NEVER fought at 140, and not below 147 since 1999. Mosley is a great, great fighter, but I think he's overstepped his bounds on this one. 143 would've been too low, anyhow. 147 is his natural weight, and at 38, he shouldn't stray far in one direction or another.

Assuming Pac agrees to this fight, would Mosley's 147lb title be on the line along with Pac's 140lb title?

 

the fight wouldn't happen even if it signed..i doubt mosley could make 140 lbs...his body prolly let him get down to 144-145 but i think after that he wouldn't have anything left to sweat off..if he does make the weight i think he'll lose alot of size and strength and speed and get knocked as it will hurt his stamina..

At 145 or above mosley murders pac though!

no because it would be a jww fight..not a ww fight..they could do like srl did and weigh in at 140 and than 2 hours later weigh in for 147 as well and make it for both the belts but i dont see that happening in this fight or many others at that
