Shane/PAC at 140 - Is Mosley Crazy???

Never count Shane out.....He use to fight below Jr WW but that was years ago....I think back in 1999, so almost a decade ago. But shane is one of those gym rats who stays in shape. If he beat PAC at Jr WW that win would mean A LOT considering PAC is at his best now at 140. Beat the man who is sitting atop the sport at his own weight and you'll reap the benefits. I'd favor PAC at 140 or at a catch weight but at 147 not sure b/c I'm not sure how good of a WW PAC really is.

Crazy and desperate, I would say. I hope this is not for HYPE.

 

I think the Margarito win is getting to his head big time.

 

I think Mosley can expect Pac to come forward. Therefore, like the Margo fight, he has the advantage that he can stand back and counter. Getting to 140 might be hard for SSM, but if he can and he has a good gameplan, he has a good chance. His chin is granite although I don't know how losing weight will affect that fact.

 

I think Shane is using reverse psychology. If he challenges Pac at 140 than Pac will forget About Cotto and try to make a deal with him.

 

<sigh> I wish Shane never offered that, he just made the Cotto-Pac negotiations very complicated now.

 

pac should just take the fight. mosley wanted it. pac should give it to him rather than forcing cotto to face him at 143.

 

IF it's true . . . yes . . . Pac should take it. He won't have to worry about being too heavy and being out of his limit. But I really doubt Mosley meant that. He can't be that competitive at 140.

 

I've said it from day one that Pacquiao would only fight Cotto or Mosley if it's way below 147 pounds and damn it i was right big time. But i knew once Cotto vs Pacquiao is rumar of not going to happen, Mosley jump in quickly thinking about the huge payday in which he ain't thinking about his health so he wants to fight Pacquiao at 140 pounds. Desperate guys goes for desperate measures and Mosley is one desperate guy. I think Mosley knows that the only way to get the Pacquiao fight is called out Pacquiao at 140 pounds in Pacquiao weight class in which Pacquiao and Roach won't say no.

Pacquiao wins and wins big. I wouldn't fell this way if the fight was at 147 but at 140, Mosely has no chance.
