Shane/PAC at 140 - Is Mosley Crazy???

That's the BIG question! With Mosley saying he's willing to move down to 140lbs to make the fight, we shall now see if Freddy Roach & Pacquaio do what they can to make the fight?

Roach is no fool - he knows if Mosley catches Pacquiao is more than likely goodnight for Manny! Mosley is a fast, sharp puncher aswell. I reckon Roach will be more confident with Mosley saying he drop to 140lbs, but Shane is not an idiot - I can't see him fighting at a weight where he would be completely drained!

I still reckon Cotto-Pacquiao will happen instead!

if mosley beats pacquiao at 147 then the excuse that everyone will come out with is that mosley was too big for him. if the fight takes place at 140 then the weight suites pacquiao so he can't come out with the excuses when mosley knocks him out. with the fight at 140 it becomes a 50-50 fight wheras if it was at 147 mosley would be a big favourite. pacquiao gets KTFO in whatever weight class it happens.

even at 140, they dont wanna fight mosley. mosley could liley make 140 without trouble. remember he started at 135 and skipped 140 to go to 147. even at 140, mosley likely wins.

Well she was his manager, she was already making good money. All depends how it was handled.

I mean though, how far did this set him back in the question.

Just like everyone new DLH was too big for Pac, and Hatton would be his biggest challenge.

I think that SSM proved during the Margo fight that you can't count him out.

wow is mosley is that desperate to fight pacquiao? I say **** cotto vs pac at a catchweight. If mosley wants to go down to 140 to fight pacman then so be it. Pac haters are complaining about the catchweight fight with cotto so if mosley is that desperate then bring on pac vs mosley at 140.

For the DLH fight no one knew DLH would weigh less than Pac come fight time...

Few people thought Hatton was going to have a chance.

More people gave Baldomir a chance vs Floyd than Hatton against Pac.

Regarding DLH - I don't care what he weighed on fight night, just pointing out that predictions don't always happen the way we think.

Regarding Hatton - I'm not saying that everybody gave hatton a chance, but you can read through pre fight posts and it was pretty consistent that people felt it would be a tough fight and Pac's biggest challenge.

The point of the post is that we are often surpised by outcomes, and we shouldn't count SSM out because he's been known to shock us.
