You've got to remember Doc, Pacquiao the man right now, he's not in the business of fighting capable fighters.......if he can fight a shot fighter and get a good guarantee sum of money, thats who'll he'll fight.......you're right, maybe by next Cinco de Mayo, Marquez will meet that criteria.

.......now having said that, I've followed Shane Mosley from the start, and I'll say he deserves every penny and more of the 5 million he will be recieving.(I doubt he'll get any upside in the PPV money as my belief is that the fight will do well under 1 million PPV buys.

....its too bad......a JMM-Pac fight imo easily exceeds 1 million, and if promoted properly with the story of the controversy of the first two fights, with lots of highlights of Marquez continuously jolting and snapping Pacquiao's big head back, it could very well have gone up as far as 1.5 milion buys.

To bad for boxing fans, and too bad for Erik Morales, as he's going to take a brutal beating at the hands of JMM who will be next for after the Pacquiao fight did'nt materialize.

My goodness, Arum thought it was thoughtful of him to offer Marquez 2 million for a Pac fight, yet he will find reason, however ridiculous to say Mosley merits 5 million where he could barely stomach an offering of 2 million for Marquez.:patsch

It's not a waste of time. Mosley can actually beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao is not a slick boxer like Mayweather. Also it's guaranteed to be an exciting fight.

And some people on here, Arum too, are saying Mosley/Pac will generate a lot more money than Marquez/Pac on Cinco de Mayo. It's ****ing ridiculous.

.......and I believe cockroach said, "Manny will go after the winner of Bradley/Alexander, which mean Pac will drop to 140 lbs, something they were not willing to do for a Marquez showdown.:nut:nut:nut:nut

I'm not sure what fight brings the most money? I was going to say Mosley , but because of how bad he did against Floyd, I'm not so sure. I have to believe Arum looked at all the numbers to see where the most money is. He would have a more educated guess than most on this board. I mean he is in it for the most money. I don't think Marquez at this stage poses a real threat to beat Paq. right know, at 147 anyway.

King Pacquiao can fight Bradley or Alexander at 148. They'll just have to move up in weight to fight him, he's the champion.

Did they say Manny would drop down ,or would Bradley- Alexander move up ? Bradley has already tested the waters at 147. IMO to set up a potential fight with Manny.

I'm not saying you would, but if Manny fought Marquez again and beat him , most would say he was to old, or the weight gain.
