A fight I always wanted to see but sent Shane has been on a down hill slope i hope it will happen soon So who do you all think would win if this fight were to take place my bet is on Shane.
It would depend on when this fight happens - actually no it wouldn't. If the fight would have happened a couple of years ago - I think Shane wins by UD. His speed and movement would have been too much for Tito. Tito was also dropped by Vargas - Vargas couldn't drop Shane. Plus - Shane takes a better punch than glass jaw Vargas. If they were to fight now - Shane wins by KO. The lay off was too long to come back and fight someone of Shane's talent and ring experience. The same reason I choose Tito to lose if the Roy Jones fight is made. Just too much time off.
They were talking to Roy about the comeback fight around 168 - but Roy wants another fight before the end of the year and Tito isn't suppose to come back until next year - so we'll have to wait and see. They did say that Oscar was out of the picture - cause Tito couldn't get back down to the smaller weight classes. But we all know how money changes things.
Yea money talks i wish money would talk to Floyd and tell him to fight Shane after Hatton. And I believe Shane would still beat tito at 147 he was just to good for the top boxers in that time frame.
I believe when they both win - he has no choice but to fight Shane. There would be no fight out there bigger for him. And win - lose - or draw - Cotto will fight Oscar in May.
LOL :nono You cant be serious Tito would get knocked out hands down all tito has is a hook and now we see all you need is a good jab to kill tito
Shane lost to two guys with long arms. Last time I check - Tito doesn't have the reach of Wright or Forrest. Shane did far better than Tito against Wright - and damn if Wright didn't put an ass whoopin on your boy. Let alone - Shane fought Wright twice - and none of the rounds were as bad as the best round for Tito. Shane beat Oscar twice - well 1.5 times. But we all know Tito lost that fight to Oscar. You have nothing to back up your statement - so you have to explain to me how Tito wins that fight. As for Oscar at 160 - you can forget it. And you couldn't name a person that would get the lion's share of any fight with Oscar. You must be high or something. Here's one for you :rasta
This is what I wanted to see after the first De La Hoya-Mosley bout. Battle of the guys who beat Oscar. Oh well. Today, not sure, but Mosley's been lookin decent lately. Good luck against Cotto, he's no Collazo!
Jason - honestly - I don't know who wins this fight. If I had to pick a winner - which we will all have to do when the fight is made - I would have to go with Oscar. Cotto has shown that his chin is suspect. Whenever he's caught with a good shot - his legs go limp like a soft dick. Oscar's left hook could end Cotto's night. I take nothing away from Cotto - I'd probably pick him to beat everyone at 147, with the exception of Shane, Mayweather, and Oscar.
Yea you pick him to beat anybody because you take the elite fighter on the list so the remaning fighter are b class oponents
You've got to be kidding me. Your comparing Tito to Vernon? They are NOT the same type of fighter, not even close. It takes a strong jab to beat Shane and Tito has none of that. Prime for prime, Shane UD12 Tito. Now, Shane KO10 Tito.
