Shane was coming off two ko victories of Vargas & shut out a prime Collazo ! Collazo whooped Ricky Hatton !!!! Hatton got a gift in that fight !.....

So your telling me that 6 months after shutting out a 25 year old prime Collazo that Shane is past it ,......nah just because he's 36 doesn't mean he is past it ! Shane is still the great fighter he was years ago the man hasn't lost much !

Like Hopkins at 36 when he beat tito he wasn't past it either !

If Shane is past it and he shut out Collazo who in turn whooped hatton rather easily what does that say about floyd fighting Hatton ?

Is Floyd fighting Hatton a man who couldn't beat Collazo in any true boxing fans eyes !!! Shane dominated Collazo ! Cotto beat an even stronger shane then the one who dominated collazo !

What the hell is Floyd talking about that Cotto don't deserve him ?

First of all Mosley at welterweight is already out of his comfort zone if you ask me. I think Mosley at 135-140 is a monster but he is slightly less so at 147.

Secondly Mosley is a freak, he has longevity that most fighters do not have, I think he isnt at his best welteweight form but its been a very, very gentle decline much like Hopkins and Calzaghe.

Collazo didnt exactly whoop Hatton easily, you lose creditability with a statment like that.

Is Mosley past it?? No but it depends what you define as "it".

If "it" is his prime then yes, he left that at lightweight 8 years ago.

But if "it" is still being considered an elite fighter than no he is not past that not at all.

I dont know, when Mosley first made the move to 147. he may have had some of the fastest hands i've ever seen...(Yeah, he was faster than when he was at lightweight).. But i agree that his prime was at lightweight, as well as him till being an elite fighter...

All that said, i want my boy to retire, i dont wanna see Shane be one of them who retires off of a 6 fight losing streak, and bad losses too.. I'd rather him go out fighting a close fight with a young, hungry, champion, and even almost winning the fight..

Shane was past it, but still a stern test 4 any WW. If u compare his speed, footwork, AGILITY and movement with his 1st DLH fight then u know...
