I don't by the fact he has Richardson in his corner and Shane is renewed and different he aint Hopkins. People like Floyd and Bernard and are scientific in the sport high boxing IQ. Shane is more of a mode like Pacquiao a straight up fighter, not they aren't smart fighters but don't have the same IQ. As long as Shane been fighting he was lost with the younger Cotto. Richardson can't change that at all Shane is who he is you have to be able to be just as technical to have a chance to beat Floyd. I "ve always said if Forrest, Hopkins, and Wright were smaller they posed the threat to beat Floyd because they are technically better boxers.

Thing is with Shane he has the capacity to adopt a difficult gameplan if Nazim sets one. He has all the physical tools to apply the plan, and the understanding and discipline to do so. In the past he has lacked real guidance in terms of strategy i think and his desire to be destructive takes over.

If Shane can skillfully force his size and strength advantage on Floyd he has a chance, 10 yrs ago, I would've bet money on Shane because he had that supreme speed advantage to go along with the size and strength but not today, I think its gonna be a good fight, but its a little too late for Mosley.

How many slick boxers has nasim beaten? His record with hopkins shows he is nothing special when going against speed (the last fight with RJJ doesn't count). Nasim is the guy you bring in to take out stalkers.

Shane has a problem with boxers which made him come out of his element and have to stalk them because he was being beat at distance. Shane likes to start his offense off of a counter shot. He just doesn't mix well with mayweather in my oppion and I believe he handles mosley stalking and at distance. Mosley the counter puncher is not gonna be seen because mayweather will not be coming forward pressing the fight.

Looking at how shane swings, I see his movement getting figured out rather early and floyd going on to a Wide UD 9-3ish.
