he probably looks better cus he didnt have nearly a year in camp as he did for Mayweather, remember the Berto fight was called off, and I am confident today Berto would have rather gotten knocked out by shane than lossing to Ortiz...
Has it occurred to anyone besides me that Shane has been through bad periods in his career before? He's been through periods when he seemed to be just about shot, and then resurrected himself. I expect Pac to win, but I damn sure ain't countin' Shane out.
Actually the wife threw that one at me last night, in the Forrest fights, and the Winky fights Shane looked all done, even when rebuilding he looked old against Estrada, then comes back to beat vargas twice, in which many thought after the first fight Shane was clearly done but the 2nd shocked everybody.. Then you have a few more years in which Shane just looks spent, lossing close to Cotto only to turn around and utterly destroy a man who walked through Miguel Cotto.. Wont count him out, but I sure aint counting on him....
That is exactly why we need drug testing. :deal I am not knocking Shane. I love him as an athlete, but his resurrections are much like Manny's "resurrection". When faced with a drug test Mosley consented and hasn't looked good since. Manny outright ducks drug tests. The same guy who chased and was catching up to Cotto for 12 and sparked iron willed, iron chinned, turbo diesel Margo, gasses in two rounds against Mayweather and can't mount an offense against Mora? I hope SSM can put the mitts on Manny. It is just doubtful. Manny and Co. made Shane take tests (?). The Shane we all love won't show up.
