In court papers filed in San Francisco, convicted steroid dealer Victor Conte and Shane Mosley's former trainer Deryl Hudson both testified that Shane Mosley was on illegal perfomance-enhancing steroids when he beat Oscar De La Hoya in 2003. Mosley has admitted being on the juice but thought he was injecting legal supplements. Mosley then sued Conte for defamation. As part of court submissions in that lawsuit, both Hudson and Conte testified that they saw Mosley take the drug EPO after he was told about the benefits and effects of steroids. source: associated press

    If true.

(Most likely is) Mosley has lost my respect. Because who INJECTS LEGAL supplements? Oh wait thats right there is NO ****ING SUPPLEMENT YOU INJECT.

Even before all of this, an article appeared in ring, calling into question the hall of fame credentials of Sugar Shane and others.

    Yes, it hurts him.

There are legal supplements you can inject. That's how most baseball players who obviously juiced lie by saying they were receiving "B-12 shots".

I still rate him on his achievements at 135 mostly, he was amazing at lightweight. I would losea lot of respect for him though if it's proved.

Mosley probably isn't an ATG (top 100 ATG) fighter anyways. As far as respect goes, even if he admitted taking steroids I would still respect him greatly, but obviously it would hurt his ranking/accomplishments past 135. He's a HOF'er no matter what.

No, I wouldn't lose respect for him because the fight he took steriods was a fight that most thought he lost anyway. Cant no one deny Shane talent at 135 and some of his big wins at ww and jmw

ATG is already a tough one for Mosley but it cant take away his titles and his Hall of Fame status just no way. Conte has always said it was for that 1 fight and Shane looked like **** in it compared to the 1st DLH fight. The FBI left Shane Mosley alone when they started the investiagation so thats good enough for after he passed a lie detector and **** test so its defientally possible he didnt know. Im not going to take the word of 2 witnesses and one convicted fellon over Shane Mosley whos always conducted himself with class and resprect. Shanes always said he did it unknowingly and he did pass the lie detector test which I know are always correct but thats enough more that and the FBI leaving him alone. **** I still havent seen a postive **** test. Those steroids didnt help him even though dumbass Conte said he was fresher in the late stages of the fight which proves nothing cause Shanes always been badass from rounds 10-12.

It is obvious to anyone who wants to see it. Mosley before and after BALCO was a big difference.

What did it help him do ? Make him look any more ripped ? Pretty impossible for Shane. Faster ? He looked rather slow and lathargic threw like 1 combo. Powerful ? Never hurt DLH. More stamina ? How could we tell DLH always fades and Shane always gets stronger late in fights. Better technique ? **** no steroids dont do that for you. What exactly did he gain from steroids. Shanes looked much better before that night and since that night.
