Shane's career in jeopardy? Has he lost his ATG status?

Mosley was looking pretty bad throughout that time period though. You had the two Forrest fights, then Mosley's first fight @ 154 was no short to really tell, the no-contest with Marquez. The first fight after DLH 2 was the first Wright fight, which he looked bad as well.

 

If that is true:

1. It does affect Mosley's legacy. He took illegal substances to win. Those substances obviously had an effect...most probably a benefit.

2. Interesting to know the truth about Mosley-De la Hoya II. It should be changed to a NC.

3. For me, Mosley's legacy was mainly what he did above 135. His competition was quite weak at 135.

4. It would make me respect him less.

 

You have to look at the motivations of the people making these claims. Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions.

 

Im confused people are saying its rumors nothings been proven,but then some are saying shane has admitted???i mean if he has admitted it then whoever is defending him doesent have a leg to stand on,yh he may have been a great at lightweight(one of the best ever) but if you take illegal performance enhancements knowingly, your scum. However if it is all bull**** and nothings been proved as of yet people need to shut the **** up until it is.

 

Puts most of what he did up for scrutiny......no longer has the respect he once commanded the man is a fraud, I am following this one to get a real assesment of what is happening.

I met Shane Mosley once, and he was an extremely nice guy, straight up, no fakeness about him in that regard. I do however, think he knew what he was doing as far as BALCO is concerned. Shame really, but I will still look at him as one of the greats of his generation.

 

Flew across States? Shane lives in California and Balco is in California so at least try and get your facts straight before you convict the guy and give others bad info.

 

No, his legacy is sealed. I don't really know how many more fights he has left in him because he is getting up there in age and hasn't fought since November and it doesn't look like he's fighting anytime soon.

 

Like what has been reported on here, Shane did take the steroids but claims he didn't know they were steroids. The peopel who don't like Shane are on their jump to conclusions matt. Apparently his name was in the Balco book, he was interviewed by the Government, passed a lie detector proving what he said was true, but that is never brought up by those that have convicted him already.

I'm on the fence with it, i'll wait for more info. I do think he's a pretty stand up guy and isn't dumb enough to sue someone for slander if there is proof out there that he knew what he was doing.

 

What exactly do you know about Balco Eze? Aside from their legal issues. Have they ever been a legitimate company? Or have they ONLY sold steroids? Have they dealt in legal supplements ever? Curious minds want to know. :huh

 

He apparently look a test when this was bigger news. Was when Jones and Bonds were still the primary targets.
