Apart from the damage he took against Mayweather, for 10 rounds in a row.

Mosley is not the same boxer mentally or physically compared to the one that turned up against Mayweather...not far off though.

That's been said time and time again of SHane. For years and years. And so far, I haven't seen anything to suggest what you say it true about him now and vs. Floyd.

Yeah, he looked less then great vs, Mora. That's not an accurate measuring stick though. Shane has never looked as good at 154 as he did 147. NOt to mention, Mora makes everyone look like ****. Runs too much.

It has been said time and time again, but it will catch up with him against Pacquiao. He took a continued punishment against Mayweather, and he looked out of it at times...if he was 30, I would say there was a good chance that he could come back strong, but 40...in with a guy like Pacquiao?

Mentally, he surely can't have the same confidence as he had going in to the Mayweather bout...and physically...Mayweather was knocking his head back at will, Pacquiao will most likely stop him.

Shane knows how to box just fine. Because he can't outbox the upper echelon of boxers does not mean he's a got journeyman-level skill. He completely out-boxed Margarito and Collazo in every way.

I said it long before he faced Mayweather - that if Mosley fights Pacquiao he'll get stopped.

Who cares? Someone will be the first. It wouldnt shock me if Pac puts the punches together needed to warrant a ref stoppage or a corner pull out. Big deal, Mosley is going on 40 years old, someone will do it sooner or later.
Whether he would be or wouldnt be, is hardly the point. Mayweather fought Mosley when Mosley was coming off the biggest win of his recent career, and one of the most devistating wins of his entire career. And who many considered 'the man' at the weight. And even then, you heard the loud calls of Mosley being too old, Mosley being too worn, Mosley coming off a long layoff, and whatnot. That was when, the prior year, he had haulted Margaritos welterweight tear.

Fast forward a year, and Mosley has looked every minute of his 40 years in his last two fights, hasnt actually WON a fight for TWO years, got white washed and completely dominated by Mayeather JR, and the list goes on. The debatable subjective question as to whether Mosley will or wont be as shot as when he fought Mayweather is besides the point. It was not apparent at the time, when people were saying Mayweather was scared to fight Mosley, that Mosley was so past it. It is VERY apparent now.
And the bottom line is, making minor improvements from getting completely white washed by mayweather, and winning a whopping 4 rounds off of sergio mora, shouldnt make you in line for a shot at the p4p King. That is the point. Mosley may not be as shot as he looks, great, let him show it against his fellow contenders, before he gets a fight with Pac. Its absurd.
