Floyd is Fighting JMM on like July 11th or something Then I guess ideally Floyd will fight Pacman On like December 12th or something like that if Shane Secured a fight with paul williams for the summer sometime.....ideally early august... then secured the winner of Cotto vs Clottey... ideally Cotto... then fought him in msg in December also... Floyd would have no choice to either A) really retire forever B) fight shane because if shane did all that **** he would undoubtedly be either #1 p4p or #2p4p and the demand for the fight would be as high as it could possible get
both floyd and pacman are equally unrealistic & far from possible... floyd wants- high profile fighters, big money fighters, in demand fights pacman wants- beatable guys, in demand fights, big money fights shane doesnt fall into any of these categories for either guy
if shane wants floyd.... the only way he can do it is if he beats paul williams... if shane is on the highway driving to floyd mayweather paul williams stands at one toll miguel cotto stands at the next toll if shane doesnt have enough money in his pockets to get past the toll's hell never get to where he wants to
Mayweather Vs. Pacquaio (Assuming JMM don't break your hearts) Won't happen until 2010. IMO Pac takes a fight in Dec. against TBA (& Should he win) Then a possible May date. That would leave potential for Mayweather/Marquez Vs. Mosley, winner get's May date.
if manny vs floyd dont happen directly after floyd vs jmm... its a fact that manny and his people dont really want to fight floyd
A fight with Mosley is not out of the question, Mayweather tried to make it in 2006 but was publicly turned down. If they chased him back then I don't see why they won't now.
Trust me they want to fight Floyd, they have mentioned him quite a lot even in retirement. Pacquiao and his team mention guys they WANT to fight so this fight is not out of the question.
That's because Shane spoke to Floyd personally and was told Floyd wasn't interested for the time being. If Floyd wants to shake off the ring rust before fighting Shane, I have no problem with that. But if he's returned just to fight smaller dudes moving up and never does fight a real welterweight again it would have to reflect poorly on his legacy.
