it should be.... if they take the risk against cotto they will possibly lose and also lose out on a lot of money...and if cotto wins he will steal all of pacmans steam...roach & them need to just cash out now while manny is still hot...and confident as ever... because if he fights cotto and has a rough one he might second geuss that floyd fight

floyd wont just fight shane with shane not being hot... shane needs to get some momentum

yeah but now im hearing a bunch of mess about pacman supposedly wanting cotto next

No genius....you're hearing how Roach and Arum thinks it would be a more exciting or entertaining fight vs. Cotto.

    I disagree..
I would even say That Mosley in ring is prob hotter than the 1 1/2 comeback Mayweather.

    Coming off 2 K.O.'s in a row.
And the along w/Cotto #1 WW in the world.

what does excitement level have to do with anything

floyd vs manny buildup>>>>>>>>>>>>>manny vs cotto buildup
floyd vs manny cash>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>manny vs cotto cash
manny beating floyd on resume>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>manny beating cotto on resume

the entertainment level means absolutely nothing...

basically what roach and arum are considering right now is how hard of a fight vs mayweather will be.....

and there is a good chance that they will lose & if they lose floyd will steal all of manny's momentum ... so instead of just cashing out now... they are debating whether they should take the risk of doubling up their money.... (fighting cotto & mayweather).. the problem with that is that cotto is no walk in the park and if manny doesnt beat cotto he wont get any more major fights because cotto will asume the position of the big dog.. and would probably get the nod for the floyd fight

    its basicaly like

making a share of 200 mil (floyd) now and there being a big chance of losing

    vs

making a share of 50-75 mil (cotto) now and there being a smaller chance of winning and also making 200 mil (floyd) down the line...but the 200 mil isnt garaunteed

Yeah, how is Shane "not not" right now? Dude absolutely destroyed Margarito and is the Ring Magazine WW champ. Shane has more momentum than he's had in years. Walk with Me is starting to talk like a member of Team Mayweather with this stuff.

sorry i just realize & understand the business of the sport... nobody is trying to order a ****ing shane mosley ppv.... be real ... the floyd vs jmm is going to do shitty numbers also but it would do better than any possible ppv you could make with shane as the head liner

this isnt why i watch boxing .... i just know whats going on.... arum & roach saying "fighting floyd would be boring" is the biggest cop out i have ever heard since i have watched boxing.... who the **** cares if the fight is boring...

if pacman win's it makes him like top 15 all time or some **** liek that
if he wins itll lead to some rediculously ass pay days down the line

that boring stuff is a crock of ****... & it wouldnt be boring anyway.... floyd can just duck & hide from pacman.... pacman got to much energy and is too mobile and to fast for that ****... floyd would have to difght him

Sounds as much. Me personally, I want to watch great fighters take part in great fights, I really don't give a damn how much each guy is making, or what the live gate might have generated. Never once have I jumped up and down after a fight screaming "They grossed over SIX MILLION at the gate, and that's not counting PPV!!" The most boring fight ever isn't suddenly med great because there was good buildup, or if they make a killing on PPV.

The entertainment level means nothing???? Seriously, are you an accountant or a boxing fan? If entertainment means nothing, why the hell even WATCH?

no seriously... waht does the excitement have to do with it...from the fighters perspective... obviously I as a fan want to see an entertaining fight... if you think manny vs floyd would be boring your stupid.... that i cannot help...

but if i was manny's people i would be excited for the chance to fight floyd.... a win ( no matter how it comes boring or exciting) will truly cement manny into boxing history.... **** if its boring or not... a win and he is one of the biggest legends of the sport.... teh **** cares if its boring or not.... its a 1 & a million opprotunity

most of yall are completely missing the point

as a fighter becoming a 1 & a million legend is much more important thatn being in a "exciting" fight... its irrelevant

who would you rather see pacman beat.... floyd or cotto.... ask yourself that quesiton then get back to me with that excitement ****
