    Green is a legitimate World Champion I'll give him that, but Katsidis has a lot more respect from me as a fighter. He continues to take the tough fights wanting to test himself and make a name for himself in a packed division rather than run from legitimate challenges. These morons saying the average Australian wouldn't have a clue who Kats is, . . . well let me ask you this . . . would you rather be well known Domestically or Internationally??? . . . . idiots.

    Green's best performance IMO was against Lucas. Yes he beat Drews, however he really didn't have to do much as Drews effort would have to be the WORST performance from a World Champion EVER. Throwing 3 punches a round, against a guy who is half your size???!! Come on. Now that was a joke of a fight. I have also seen Garay fight, and I think Danny knew he couldn't win this, so he decided to be a ***** and retire with the FULL INTENTION that he would come back for a money making exercise against Mundane. It is for this reason he loses any respect I previously had of him.

    Actually have a closer look at that Lucas fight, the first 3 or 4 rds weren't that flash from Green, i really think Lucas was carrying baggage in that fight, whether it be mental or physical.

    Well that just accentuates my point. Although he didn't dominate the fight from start to finish, it is still his best win on his resume. Just proves he really was never that good as his best win was against a shot Lucas.

    U can bag Danny all u want, i dont care, but u cant bag him for the Drews fight. He pushed forward all night. It wasnt his fault that Drews didnt want any part of his power.

    Drews fought tooth and nail against Briggs, yet he **** himself against Green. I take that as a compliment to Green.

    I've always thought there was something fishy about the Drews fight. After watching it, I think it had fix written all over it. . . it wouldn't surprise me at all. Sure Danny was moving forward the entire fight but how do u explain Drews fighting so passively? And don't say he tasted Danny's power, Green didn't land anything flush all nite.
    It all fits anyway. . . Green gets to call himself a World Champion, Drews walks away with a nice payday before retiring (Drews hasn't fought since the Green fight, so he must be reitred).

    Was any mention of Drews being crook, or drained pre fight ever reported....?? tough call to suggest a Champ would give his belt away, especially to a foreign fighter, in his last bout... money does interesting things though.

    First ive heard of a fix. I cant imagine Green doing that, especially with someone who Briggs knocked out.

    He knocked Drews down, he didnt knock him out. Briggs won on points.

    I was just having a read on the net, and some newspaper mentioned a possible Siaca fight for Green's comeback. Thoughts?

    Agreed. Being more well known in the states, and in the UK, and Europe is much better than being more well known in Australia, especially when you consider the state that boxing is in over here.

    :lol::yep

    Green doesnt neccessarily have to be involved in order for it to be a fix.

    I'm not sure if there was a fix or not, but if you were browsing these forums straight after the fight, then you'd have read about how many people, and I mean MANY were calling it a fix.

    I agree with you about Danny in this fight. You can't really bag him (unless he was in on the fix:p) as he was going forward the whole night. But the win doesn't really do much for him either.

    Thats right, my mistake.

    Im sick of him chasing Mundine opponants. Its getting old. However, in saying that, it would be a good fight for Danny, one he should win well.
