Danny may aswell sit at the pub, drinking copious amounts of booze, as any comeback will be a fruitless one, unless Khodder (I control the Man, who controls my retirement funds) Nasser, places a vast sum of cash on the table.

lol danny may aswell sit at the pub, have a 6 pack or 2, and a few shots of tequila and fight taylor and hell beat him, then he can beat his chest as much as he wants to fight the man, buts its quite simple choc has got all the power in this one, but mundine is after easy money so hell go for it after a while of saying no no no.....
seriously shannon taylor retire while you have half of your brain left....
fighting 3-4 weight divisions higher then your prime is a joke and your seriously risking your health...

Yeah possibly...but in the back of Choc's mind is that there's a fairly easy $5Mil+ waiting for him in Perth whenever he cares to go and pick it up.

Okay there's a weight challange involved in meeting Danny...but the weights sessions and protein feasts won't be too hard to take when the money's just waiting for him on the grass of Subiaco oval.

What's with all this "Green needs Choc, Green knows he's **** without Choc" stuff that's started to appear lately?

It's Choc who was calling Green out from the time he retired.

It's more correct to say Mundine needs Green for several reasons:

    1. Green provides the biggest money fight he can make in Australia

    2. Campaigning for a rematch with Green provides Choc with the escape hatch he requires should Pavlik, Abraham or Sturm actually take him seriously and make him an offer.

They both need each other, and sadly enough are both happy with each other.

Mundine doesn't need Green as an escape clause to get out of a Pavlik fight, etc. He'd just turn him down and tell the public he wasn't getting enough $. Same as he's always done throughout his career.

Had only respect for Danny Green until his 'surprise' comeback after pulling the pin in the 11th hour on his Ist world title defence.

Danny turns 36 next week, and after his 'retirement', can't be coming back for any kind of long haul, other than a cash haul.

Danny & Choc need each other in order for the $10Mil circus to come to Perth town.

You fools, it's already a done deal. Heck, people have already posted that the Perth stadium has already been booked in advance, so no point in all this stupid talk about who's calling the shots. What exactly do you think Khoder and the Green camp were discussing when they were caught catching up over a coffee and danish immediately before Green announces a comeback?? Having a lesuirely cuppa talking about the weather???

Wake up people, noway would the money-***** Green announce a comeback if he couldn't guarantee the circus would go ahead. I bet he already knows what his $$$ share will be. Nina is probably checking out realestate.com.au as we speak.

SP... Who knows what the hell is going on??? If 'my man belted Green' and the team form 'Green barely won a round' were talking... the probability of Green announcing a comeback, for the sake of having a World Title Double-Header (Man vs Taxi and Green vs Taxi) is just as likely at Subiaco.

The mind boggles, as Mundine is at M/W... chasing nothing of worth, by reports. Mundine is said to fight Geale, at M/W for the IBO diadem... Christ, The Man may suffer any kind of misfortune... particularly, a loss or injury in this fight. If the 'struggle' to make M/W, is a legitimate happening, then Mundine is being a tossa, even fighting at M/W.. he'd be doing more damage, than good... physically.

As for Green.. he has a greater risk, against anyone of note, to comeout second best. One loss or terrible performance, before the projected 'Mundine/Green II bout, will nulify any chances of this coming together.

This fight is already 12 months too late. Why would it happen in 12 months from today???? I doubt this fight would have any chance of happening, before the next 12 months have elapsed.

The 'Kronksters' will be running 'fire safety' schools, before this fight happens. Green needs, at minimum, 2 casual bouts, and 2 thourough workouts, before this bout is worth paying for.

Mundine himself, needs another 40 warm up bouts, 15 at M/W.. 20 at SM/W.. and 5 at LH/W, before Khodder 'I think he's ready' Nasser will consider the proposed fight.

In your mind, whats the avenue Nasser will take?? Beat Geale, then move back to SM/W??? Forgetting Pav or Sturm... more than likely..

Im starting to think a lazy $50 might have to be placed on the Geale fight... so the winnings can purchase a COMPASS for Nasser... then a better direction can be shown, for any other man he managers.

On the other hand, I hope Geale puts an end to these Khoder games.

flamego this is my take on what will happen:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3432376#post3432376

I always knew the retirement was total BS, money talks. We all know Choc is NEVER gonna step it up (wasted talent), and Green was too much of a ***** to take on a legitimate contender in Garay.

Lets be realistic here, Green is not going to take any fight which will pose a risk to derail the circus. This is why guys like Taylor and the retired Siaca are being discussed as potential tuneups.

As for the move to M/W, . . . well that was a convenient move after he ran away from Kessler. Choc will beat Geale on points, win the IBO title, and then proceed to call himself a 2 weight, 3 time WorldChamp. This will just hype the rematch even more as the aussie public wouldn't know **** about which belts matter. Do you honestly think he would have moved down to M/W and given up his paper title, had Kessler not enforced the mandatory?

SP.... I read your initial post, and it rings true, both then and now.

Seriously, I still have no reason to consider this fight possible within the next 12 months..... HMMMM... perhaps my train of thought relates to more constructive acheivements from both fighters, in the interim..??? Assuming both men (Khodder and TeamGreen) are doing whats in the games interest???

    OOPS..... my mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :patsch

You might be onto something SP...

The Aust. public may be faced with this debarcle before December...

Imagine that.. Green has been in retirement (Mundine in semi logical retiremnet for 2 years), for 14 months.

If they make a small fortune, Vic Patrick vs Tommy Burns, Richards vs Henneberry 1-10, Michael vs Ropis and countless numbers of other worthy fights are being disgraced by these guys.

Suddenly I'm a big hopeful for Geale.... typically falling into the 'Khodder' trap........!!!

That ****, Khodder, brings a disgarceful element to the game, yet, I'm suddenly more interested in the upcoming bout (Geale), just through writing, and agreeing with the lack of abilty to credit any up coming Mundine bout.

I guess Khodder knows how passionate we are, and knows how frustrated we become.. just waiting for something circumstancial, in the latter stage of Mundines career.
