I think that the smart money would be on Moore to outbox Briggs.

    Archie Moore by KO.

Briggs was a fringe contender who got a lucky gift decision against Foreman.
Briggs was barely ever in the rankings, even in his prime.
It's funny how people talk about Briggs now. No one thought much of him in the 1990s.

OP only looks at size when assessing fighters. Actual skill set means little to him.

Shannon Briggs was losing to journeymen in his prime. His real success comes when they match him with utter tomato cans.
His ONLY true legit good win was the last second KO over Liakovich.
And Liakovich probably only has one good win in his entire career too.

You'd have to know almost nothing about Briggs and Moore to think this is some easy win for Briggs.

I think any light heavyweight is easy for Briggs to k.o,briggs isn't fighting journyman in a moore era ,certainly you would agree SHw's are far harder to get through?

moore pts is a fine pick, but stopping briggs, a tiny tiny chance, i wouldn't bet on it at 100/1, maybe at 1000/1, but i'd bet on rigo to stop him at those odds.

briggs might be average but his chin is from the top drawer.

My number one fighter of all time is Robinson. He isn't the biggest fighter?

My number 1 FW of all time is Pep, he wasn't the tallest FW of all time?

My number 1 LW of all time is Whitaker, he didn't have the longest reach of all time?

Briggs was badly KO'd by Darroll Wilson, a 6' and 215 pound fighter, in 3 rounds.
Wilson was no contender, and certainly not a giant super-heavy.

Vitali landed every punch in the book in the book on Briggs and couldn't stop him, I highly doubt Moore stops him.
