It wouldn't happen. It would be another boring UD for VK, just like Briggs.

Last time I checked Briggs was the former WBO and Linear Champ making him drastically better then that piece of crap Harrison.

This is not a fight Vitali should take, Briggs will win this fight mark my words. The fans can`t lose either it's a guaranteed KO either way!

Briggs vs Harrison, Winner gets Vit.

That would be acceptable, although I would rather see Solis's fat ass in there.

this is a ridiculously undeserving fight. briggs should atleast beat a ranked opponent, or pick up a minor belt first.

but, to answer the question. it should be an easy vitali victory, unless he has aged too much.

How is this possibly be a good fight. OK. Did anyone ever watch Briggs fights. He is usually outclassed for 10 rounds then he lands a flush shot to the jaw of what ever bum of the month club he called out, and he wins by KO.

Now. If Vitali is to fight him, we are talking about a man of equal power to Briggs. Equal strength. Close to equal weight. And by far and away, better skills, athleticism, and endurance.

Put that together with Briggs supposed medical condition, and you have a recipe for a 6th round RTD TKO win by Vitali.

Interesting fight if it does happen. Briggs always seemed like a possible option for either Klitschko but I wasn't sure if a fight would come off and I figured a Briggs fight might happen in NYC instead of Europe. If the fight happened I'd favor Vitali, even an aging Vitali. Briggs could get to Vitali early, he's still got huge power and Vitali is getting more hittable lately. But I think Vitali would weather an early Briggs storm and end up stopping Briggs in the second half of the fight.

Not surprised this fight might take place because:

    A. Shelly Finkel still serves as an adviser to both the Klit bros and is now the President of Empire Sports and Entertainment.

    B. Empire happens to be a company co-owned by Shannon Briggs and Greg Cohen.

ICO, how true is this rumour?

Adamek has a fight set and plans to fight Peter later this year in an IBF eliminator. He stated he feels that he isnt ready fo a Klit yet

Solis turned an offer down to fight Vitali in May due to date and money bs excuses. He´ll wait until Vitali retires and then cash up his vacant belt by fighting the likes of Derric Rossy

also Solis has done **** and is a fat twat. V Klit wont get any credit for that fight either.

audleys gold medal in the olympics means 10 times more than a **** WBO strap he couldnt even hang on to for 1 lousy defense against barney rubble who was a 6 inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter...
briggs last 4 fights his opponents have a combined 50 losses. :rofl
he is ranked 75th by box rec (which is generous)
so the last time i checked...he still was an overrated loud mouth that fights tomato cans to chalk up his ko record
that is all fan boy :hi:

    Guaranteed KO?

This is one of the fights that would warrant a bet on the Over no matter what the odds look like.

Vitali doesn't have one punch power, and Briggs doesn't hit quite hard enough to test his chin. They will go the distance, and it will look much like the Arreola fight as Briggs' footwork in his later years is more or less on par with the plodding Mexican's.

Briggs is definiitely still worth a look IMO, hes durable and arguably the biggest puncher in the division, he just needs better stamina and to fight less bums

No thanks. Briggs is the dullest heavy out there. you know, cause of the asthma.
