Briggs is the best 1st round knockout artist of any Heavyweight of all-time, ****, he almost had Lennox out in the first or second round back in 98. I think Briggs will come out looking to blast out the mentally fragile Golota early, with Briggs one punch knockout power, it could mean trouble for Golota, Briggs wins by 1st round knockout.

Maybe so, but Golota is still ****ing nuts, you can never really predict what's gonna happen when he gets into the ring, as a longtime fan you should know that :yep

so knocking out cans in one round is a dynamic feat? :yikes

and Lennox wasn't hurt. maybe buzzed for a sec but he was off balance. Briggs caught him with a looping wide hook. all i saw was lennox covering up and briggs stupidly wasting energy with a lot of shoeshine activity. wide ass punches lacking any sharpness.

after that, lennox put a beatdown on the asthmatic.

Definitely-to people who say Golota hasn't done anything odd since the Bowe fights, he locked himself in a closet and cried for a while before fighting Jesse Ferguson, and walked out of the ring against Tyson. However, I can't see Briggs getting in any kind of shape for this or any other fight, and Golota is extremely well conditioned, even now. Briggs will be gasping for breath after every round, but will hang around until the 9th or so, when he will quit on his stool, to exhausted for words but citing some other reason for retiring in the fight. He should really try and land a commentating gig instead.

I wouldnt call Mercer and Liakhovich cans.

As far as the Lewis fight goes, Briggs had Lewis rocked, watch Lennox's legs buckle a bit, Lewis' heart kept him from being knocked out in that round, most others would have melted. I'm not claiming Briggs is anything special, but his one punch power is nothing short of amazing, doing something a hard hitting Brewster couldnt do with 10 times more punches.

Did anyone see/hear Briggs when he was doing the ESPN2 commentary? He himself repeatedly said he was fat. The shots of him were funny, his face is huge and puffy.

He was 275 of muscle (mostly) before. Can you imagine all that turning into fat?

I honestly believe he'll come in around the same weight, about 285, but this time it will be all fat.

You're reaching quite a bit with that statement considering he has 26 first round knockouts. Over tomato cans.

His first round knockouts of anyone worth a **** include:

The same could be said for alot of iconic Heavyweights, including Mike Tyson, who the only man he laid out early worth a **** was Spinks. Briggs has nearly 60% of wins coming by 1st round knockout, we have all ready seen Golota melt like a ice cream cone under heavy pressure and power, early in fights, whose to say the ultra-powerful Briggs couldnt do what guys like Tyson, Brewster, and Lewis already did?

I'd like to see this, Briggs has priced himself out of this fight, but it makes great sense to both.

Briggs KO or Golota takes it by decision.

I wonder if Golota will be willing to exchange and get in close and mix it up with a fresh, early round Briggs, ..............or if Golota will play it safe and stick and move from a distance.

I am not sure Golota is foolish enough to mix it up with a fresh, early round Briggs. Let's hope not..........No wait! Let's hope SO!

Golota has a decent chin..........GET IN THERE, ANDREW! You ain't afraid of this guy! You are the FOUL POLE, afterall!

Briggs steamrolls over Golota. Briggs can punch, and Golota does not win against punchers.

    Briggs KO 1.
